Kevin's POV
The argument seemed to have come to a standstill. The fire dragon was no longer interested in Jovenor's argument and kept dipping a finger into the flames that surrounded Kendall's forearms, bringing out his finger only to check how red it had gotten. It was like he was trying to figure out how fast it would take for the phoenix to fry him to a crisp. I decided to keep my questions to myself and looked on to Jovenor, the only person that was getting in our way.
Jacob sent a message to me asking permission to stay with the dwarves for much longer so that he could fix whatever was going wrong in their city. I was aware of the artras that had diverted from their mission and advocated for the end of slavery of the dwarves. This is what had then brought about the formation of Dwarvenhall, the home for the dwarves. If Jacob could make their lives better, I wasn't going to stand in his way.
