Kevin's POV
"Kevin?" he asked, looking around and taking in his surroundings as though it was the first time he was experiencing a time spell. He got up from his seat and walked around his table engulfing me in a hug. We stayed like that for a bit before I noticed he was shaking.
"Are you okay?" I asked him.
"Sort of… Yes, I am now," he replied, sniffling.
"It's not normal for a grown man to cry," I chuckled holding him for as long as he'd like. It worked for me as well anyway. I'd wanted to comfort my father since the time I found out about his past. Despite what the twins, Heather and Mindy said about the way he selfishly abandoned me as a child and didn't even care to take responsibility, I didn't have it in me to be mad at the person that had lost his wife only to hear that he was going to lose his sons as well.
