Texan's POV
"Brother, this is a very different bunch of artras, isn't it?" I asked Travas, wincing as I sighed in pain. The memory of the rapid barrage of blows from the Siege was etched into my memory, never to be forgotten.
"Yes, it is… I was wrong to order you to sacrifice yourselves to kill the artras. That might just have been what made the Siege attack in such a manner…" Travas said.
"What makes you think he wasn't simply having fun holding back from killing us?" Maria spat at our leader's somewhat delusional statement.
"You'd want to pay more attention to our enemy's reactions for everything that happens. We were able to find out that the alpha cannot control her powers of ice and as a result suffered a defeat at the hands of Abigail, Tara and Maria. In the end, she seemed to be the weakest of the bunch…" he said.
