Ciara's POV
We were taken to the 'Queen' as they were claiming to call her now. Something that my father had told me would be explained in detail to me once the time was settled in. I know cold was something that I was rather comfortable for me compared to everyone that was considered human, but when someone spent all their time on earth, it was easy to forget that.
The top of the mountain grew less populated by buildings and more decorated by walkways and statues made of ice and rock depicting old kings and queens of the past. They were randomly littered about the entire court yard, but each in a unique position that suggested that it was the ruler's favourite spot. The courtyard itself circumscribed the castle making a clean circle around the gigantic mansion. The castle was build round with no particular direction that it faced.
