Ciara's POV
Colours came crashing into my vision as I opened my eyes. After all, that is all that I was missing in this place. There didn't seem to be a sign of the sun, though that did not bother me who barely missed its absence. My father stared into my eyes intensely hoping he had drilled his message into my skull.
Was it really dawning on me now that we could actually be the last generation that had a chance of defeating the Dark mages? It was embarrassing enough to have my father spell it out for me but even more so in front of these three dragons no less.
"So you're the ones the queen has been expecting all this time? You like to take your time, don't you?" a new voice spoke up. I figured it could have been the third dragon that we'd come across at the first sentry's post.
"Yeah, we had something we had to attend to before we could come here. Is the queen ready for us? The sooner this can get started the better," he said.
