Jacob's POV
When we were well out of earshot from Kevin and Ciara, I let out my frustrations once more, striking a nearby unfortunate tree with my fist, "The nerve on that guy," I yelled as I struck it with all the energy I'd mustered at the moment. My void had opened in the process and put magic into my fist. The tree truck was split in two and the top was knocked clean off the stump sending it colliding into its neighbours on the opposite side.
"Woah… remind me never to get on his bad side," Gary said out loud.
"What did he say, Jacob?" Kendall said.
"Kevin tends to beat Jacob to important details that do not concern him and that usually pisses him off," Sonia explained.
"You mean this is not the first time?" Isaac asked out loud.
"The night before Kevin was discharged, he did something similar and called Ryan to take me home… according to him, I was going to collapse soon and had to get home quickly for some rest," I explained.
