Ciara's POV
Kevin sat there for a while longer as though he was paying his respects. "So this is where it happened?" Sonia spoke up.
"Yeah, this was where…" Isaac replied, his voice low. The wounds of the past knew how to leave scars. And this was one of those scars. 'Kevin has an ulterior motive,' Samuel's voice rang in my head. Was this what he had meant by that? Had Kevin led them here to this place intentionally?
"Eight years… and what happened in one day has haunted us since…" Kevin spoke.
"Do you think by coming back here, we'd be able to move on from this?" Kendall asked him.
"Moving forward is all we can do for the moment… we will only truly be free of this when we fulfil his wish…" the mention of a wish got everyone's blood moving.
"What do you mean by that?" Jacob asked him.
