Ciara's POV
Staying mad at Kevin was a game I was bound to lose from the moment I started it. It was impossible… he knew me too well and knew what to do to throw my mind off my mission of staying mad at him. Eventually, I'd given up on the task. It wasn't going to get me anywhere anyway.
Sonia and I finally walked out of the palace singing along to one of the songs that had caught her attention. For someone who was only getting to experience human culture for the first time, she was adapting very fast.
One thing I knew was that she had a good ear for music and it showed vividly each time she was exposed to music. She was immediately taken up by it and knew how to have fun with it. "Can you believe Ryan was the DJ?" she said amidst our craziness.
"No way, that guy is way too serious," I replied.
