Jacob's POV
I left that room walking a bit faster than my normal pace would dictate. Sonia noticed immediately that something was wrong was quick to act on it, "What's wrong, Jacob?" she asked trying to keep up with my pace. She was starting to learn the ways his mind worked, something that he didn't find to bother him as much as it normally would have. The effect this one person had on him was different from all the other girls he had ever encountered.
"I don't like this idea of a meeting that will inevitably change our homes permanently," I said, walking on. My memories of the father that abandoned me refused to subside and continued to flow like rivers.
"Is it because you will get to start living with your father again?"
