"What was that dragon calling you for?" my mother asked, her voice was as icy as it could get. I had never seen my mother lose control of her powers before. This was a first for me. What did Regina Crystal do to my mother that could get her angry? My mother was an angel and she definitely wasn't an artra, so how… Questions swirled through my head as I watched my mother stare at my father with rage in her frosty eyes. More like cold though… she looked like she was ready to freeze someone to death…
"Honey, not in front of Ciara…"
"This concerns her too. You can't push her away from this as well," she yelled at him.
"Yes, I know, but she has a lot on her plate. We can't tell her about something like that when she already has this to deal with," he said.
