My instincts kicked in and my void opened to the maximum that it could, allowing me to tap into my speed much faster instantly slowing my surroundings so I can follow what was happening. The same happened for the two boys beside me. Automatically forming a triangle back to back as they let their magic flow much faster for a counterattack. The dark mages appeared all around us, all five of them airborne, spells in hand to deliver devastating blows that were still clearly not meant to kill us.
