Kevin's POV
I could now put my worries for the others at ease now that I had fulfilled my promise. I stood still, my muscles ready to evade any attack that this thing had coming for me. But then again, it was collosal and could just as easily crush me under its foot without much effort. Fear coursed through me keeping my adrenaline up and not allowing the feeling of helplessness to consume me, my resolve teetering towards the edge. The one thing that made me sure that this was the only way for me to go were the words written on its forehead. Somehow this creature was my only way out and I had to face it.
