Dera kept running at top speed, I could tell this was faster than she normally did. The trees did not mean a thing to her now as she weaved through them at any point they got too thick. I could feel her sense of urgency through our bond. On the other hand, I was terrified. What amazed me though at this point was the fact that Morgan was keeping up with us.

A thick sense of rush overwhelmed me, adrenaline kicking into my system, and for the first time, I felt a sensation similar to magic. I looked back and noticed why this was happening. At a threatening speed, an uprooted tree was headed straight for us.
