The 2 went back home, they opened the door quietly and headed to Krystal's room. "You should go shower, Scar" Krystal suggested, Scarlett nodded and grabbed a towel and went to the bathroom. She then realised something, "Hey, Krystal, do you perhaps have extra clothes to lend me? I uh- didn't bring any from the other world, heh" She asked nonchalantly. Krystal tossed her a pair of shorts and a sweater. Scarlett muttered a thank you before heading to the bathroom to take a bathe.
Krystal sat on her bed, bored. She took out her phone and began scrolling through Instagram. She got tired of it and went to Youtube to see if there was anything interesting. Just then, Scarlett waltzed out of the bathroom wearing what Krystal had given her. Krystal stared at her in awe, her mouth agape. Scarlett smirked at her, "Earth to Krystal" Scarlett said. Krystal shook her head and got out of her trance she blushed a deep red. "Uhm, I'll go shower now..uh you can just lay on the bed. Use my phone if you want." She hurriedly rushed out of her room and went to the bathroom. Scarlett found that a bit off but she shrugged it off. She layed in Krystal's bed and used her phone. She went on twitter and scrolled through. After a while, Krystal came into the room to see Scarlett scrolling through her Snapchat. "Hey! Not that app, don't tell me you saw my about page on Instagram too, that's personal" Krystal was rambling on and on. " And if you didn't want me to check why didn't you tell me?" Scarlett asked. Krystal was a bit surprised by that response, "I thought you didn't know how to use a phone," Krystal replied sheepishly. "Please, I told you, I came here several times already. I wouldn't know how to use a phone? Psh, please." Scarlett responded. Krystal nodded, muttering something along the lines of 'you win'. Just as they were about to go to bed, they heard a crashing noise come from the living room. "Oh crap," Krystal mumbled. She grabbed Scarlett's hand and dashed to the source of the sound, "Why did you go to the sound, Krys? Are you-" Scarlett was cut off by another sound coming from the kitchen. More specifically, a familiar sound. "Agh!" A voice exclaimed. Scarlett recognised that voice, it was extremely familiar to her but she couldn't put her finger on it. Krystal was confused as to why Scarlett stopped. "We meet again, Scarlett Gray" The voice called out. Scarlett stood frozen in fear. "No...no it can't be, I killed you years ago!" Scarlett exclaimed frantically. "Oh, but did you really?" The person behind the voice creeped out the corner, holding a knife in one hand, a ball of flame in the other. "God damn it, this was supposed to be a normal night!" Krystal cried in frustration. Scarlett rolled her eyes and smirked, "Honey, you messed with the wrong people. I'll finish you off this time." Scarlett's eyes turned a dark shade of red, her hair changed to a dark purple, the tattoo on her shoulder changed from an angel's wings to a dreamcatcher symbol. "Get out, Krystal" Scarlett said, her voice was low but it had a sort of a demonic layer within it. It sent chills down Krystal's spine. "But-" She was cut off when Scarlett screamed for her to go. Krystal was frightened and bolted out of the house, praying for Scarlett to be fine. "You're reckless Scar…" She tried calming her nerves but nothing worked. She waited for Scarlett to come out.
A few hours later, the person came out dragging Scarlett by her collar. "She stands no chance, especially when I threatened her with you. She's soft." The woman cackled, she disappeared in a fog of black smoke. Krystal lunged forward and caught Scarlett before she reached the ground, tears welled up in her eyes. The fresh hot tears streamed down her face, she called an ambulance. "Scarlett, you'll be fine- y-you're strong, I lov-" The ambulance sirens cut off Krystal. The paramedics dashed out of the vehicle and went to Krystal and Scarlett. They asked what happened, Krystal explained to them the situation. Altering it so it didn't seem like a crazy ass witch just came and attacked them. Even though that was what had happened. They brought Scarlett into the ambulance. "Can I come?" Krystal asked, the paramedics looked at each other and nodded. She crawled in the back of the ambulance and sat by Scarlett. "I know you'll be fine." Her voice was shaky as she tried to contain her tears. She needed to be strong, for Scarlett. But, she couldn't hold it up for longer as she soon broke down in tears. Hot fresh tears streamed down her face.
The ambulance arrived at the hospital 10 minutes later, the paramedics took Scarlett down on a stretcher and had her go into the ICU. "You will have to wait in the waiting room." One of them said. Krystal nodded her head hesitantly, she sat down and fiddled with her fingers waiting for any news about Scarlett. It had been about 5 hours and Krystal was getting tired, then one doctor came out of the room. He looked at Krystal and walked over. "Are you a guardian, family member or a friend of Scarlett?" the doctor asked. Krystal nodded her head, "We have noticed her blood contains traces of unknown substances, we are going to find out what it is." Krystal froze. She didn't know how to explain it to them, they would think she's crazy. "She's in a stable condition, you can visit her now. We will be taking her to a care unit to take a look into this," The doctor said calmly. "I'm Lee Lin Hyun, or you can call me Dr Hyun. I hope I didn't frighten you, Ms Scarlett is currently stable. She's okay." Krystal nodded her head, she asked Dr Hyun which room Scarlett was in and went straight to the room.
"Scarlett! You're okay…" Krystal muttered as she walked to Scarlett who was smiling at her. "I'm fine..i'm okay" Scarlett comforted her. The 2 chatted the entire night, forgetting about their worries.
