Mason Carter is a seventeen year old boy from the mountain boonies of Northern United Americona, a continent that used to be America, Canada, Mexico and the South American Countries before the Great Rifts of 2030 A.D, now referred to as B.R, Before Rifts. The year is 2257, 227 years after the initial rifts began. A majority of the world is plagued by mutated magical organisms and Rift Dwellers, monsters that escaped the rifts and became catastrophes to the yet unevolved humans of the time. Mason aims to become a Rifter, one who battles those very catastrophes. But not to be some beacon of hope, or to make life better for humanity. "It's because being a Rifter means being Free!" Will Masons Ideals be realized? Or will he find it to be more Restraining than a normal life?

Hello, dear readers, I am pleased to announce the official revision of the Mason Carter Chronicles. It has been the favorite of many readers over the years, as well as my first novel. I had dropped it due to many personal problems, but no more! By no later than April 10th, 2024, there will be new, revised chapters for you readers to read. Revisions include but are not limited to:

Have fixed grammar and punctuation

The story will be less flash speed paced

There will be greater time within the Academy

Lore added and improved upon throughout story

Less overpowered MC in the beginning

Same characters, but revised world and time period

Different but Similar route to the story

Obligatory Review here, and honest or modest if you will. Yo be honest, this story was created with way too much Anime/Manga influence. But, as I continued to write it, the more I came to appreciate it. It's sometimes hard to keep the story on a easy to read pace without crossing into either too fast, or too slow in the story development. It has surprised me how many people do read and enjoy it, so I am thankful on that prospect, though I would really appreciate more reviews and collections of course! It would also be awesome to get feedback or even suggestions on how to improve the story. I'm always open to ideas. I'm not looking for votes or anything like that, though it would be appreciated, I only want to share my thoughts and ideas with the world.
