It seems that knocking in this neighborhood was forbidden, because the second I raised my hand to the door Shigeru flung it open and pulled me inside. I have to admit though, his strength was quite impressive.
"So," Kaito started, "What's the plan Hikaru?"
I gathered my things on the table, and organized them neatly before explaining everything. The plan wasn't solid, but it could work if they both cooperated accordingly.
"Alright. I'll state facts first so you know our situation and what we can and can't do; I've already been in their building before so they know my face already, however, they think I'm dead at the moment. So if I were to go in after changing the way I look a little and hiding my face, there's a chance that they'd brush it off."
"Here's what you two can do; Kaito, you have a high social standing and to put it bluntly, a lot of money. If you can make yourself an appointment with the head of the company, you may be able to look around the place and describe it to me. I was blindfolded at the time, so I could only feel my way around. It would help us find out where we need to go to find Kanoe."
"Shigeru, you'd serve as Kaito's fake bodyguard. Once he enters the boss's office, he'll instruct you to wait outside. That's when you slip away and take over the security cameras."
"And finally, we'll be needing some gear. Top of the list are communication devices like an ear piece, which won't be unusual for the both of you to be wearing. I'll need a bit of extra protection if I'm going to be getting Kanoe out, so it's best we get bullet proof vests and a stun gun. Killing is forbidden."
Both of them look at me, then at each other, then back to me again with a half-impressed expression.
"How are we going to sneak Kanoe out without being detected? It's not like we can just walk out of there with him after saying "these are not the escapees you're looking for" to the guards." Shigeru said, earning a snort from Kaito.
"If you're not going to take this seriously, then get out. A man's life is at stake." I growled. Shigeru and Kaito quickly shut their mouths after that.
"The answer to that is simple," I continued, "we leave the same way I did. They have a large garbage shute in the building that they use when disposing corpses, I discovered that when I woke up in their dumpster when they presumed me deceased. That means we can fit inside it and get out fairly quickly."
"On another note; I'll be stealing a guard uniform once I'm in. Notify me of blindspots and mannequins when it's time."
"That could actually work..." Kaito said, nodding his head in approval, "but what would I talk about with the boss to keep him there?"
"You'll be a representative of your family's business, so propose a deal with them. They'll just believe that it's not official yet when they see that you're not an employee." I replied, looking over to Shigeru, "Can you do it?"
He gave a strong nod in response, "I can."
"Glad to hear it. Now, what other questions do you guys have?"
