Chapter 8 - Chapter Eight

Jennie was being pulled along by Ignes towards the center of the village or at least in that direction. She didn't make a fuss or point out that this wasn't her home. Besides, she was way too tired to even care at this point. After all, she was taking in the sights of the village.

The view of the village lit up at night was so breathtaking it was magical. Each lamp post was made of the same stark white trees from when she first entered Tnari, but they were smaller and had globes that lit up with no visible light-bulb. At first it was strange, but now she took everything in, there was beauty all around her.

Each home was a varying shade of white, brown, or gray. On the sides of the trees was a lot of that soft-looking moss and each had varying shaped windows. Many were dark, but somewhere lit from within. Telling that the hour was late and most Tnarians were in bed.

The streets were made of blue-gray stone and put into various patterns with lighter gray stones. Swirls and shapes all over the ground. There was a strong urge to ask Ignes about the patterns, but he was so focused on their destination, that she thought it would be better to ask tomorrow. She was tired and a hot shower sounded nice.

Jennie was worried about Andan, but he said his friend would be okay. She could only hope he was correct. If they were on Earth, it would be customary to stay by his side until he got better. But, this wasn't Earth. This planet and their customs were way different than of her home planet. All she could do was roll with the punches and maybe study a way to get back to the portal and then back home.

Jennie sighed and looked up from her musings and noticed they were towards the end of the vast village. She could tell they have walked a ways and were tiring. Today all ready wore her out, but this last bit of leg work was making her legs ache.

They were slowing down when she tripped over a loose rock and tumbled into Ignes. The male must have heard her slight "oomph" and whipped around to catch her in his arms. She looked up at the handsome male and blushed. Before she could apologize, he swung her up bridal style and continued walking without saying a word.

For a moment she was shocked and wanted to fight him, but as she looked up at his face, she paused. His jaw was firmly set, and he had a determined look on his face and it was a very handsome face. Strong jaw, small scar on the left side of his lips, and oh those lips. They were delicious. Firm, but soft and that tongue of his. Just remembering what he could do with that mouth had her wet between her legs.

He looked down at her and then back up. When he stopped, it was in front of a wide tree. It isn't the tallest tree in the village, but it was the oldest and widest tree here. There was a huge double door, and it looked like there was at least four levels to the tree itself. Each branch was thick and she could swear there was places to sit or even gardens up there, but she couldn't be sure. It was darker than on the main street. She didn't notice they steered away from the main strip and was now down towards a darker and quieter part of the village. Jennie shuddered at the cooler air temperature.

Ignes looked down at the quiet woman in his arms and almost smiled. She had been taking in his village as they walked and when she tripped, her curves planted well against his own hard body. He could feel every dip and curve and wanted to feel her naked against his skin. Then when he swung her up in his arms, he knew she would protest, but instead caught him off guard with her silence. He knew she was staring at him and a quick glance told him he was right. Even her scent changed and there was that spice to it that told him she was aroused.

He wanted her now more than ever and now they were at his home. He chose it away from the bustle of the main street and the noise. Preferring the quieter section of the village. It wasn't as well lit, but it was full of gardens and hidden alcoves for couples to play in. He loved it here and was proud to own a section of this land.

True, he was Prime and owned half of Lani, but his title could come and go with another. So, his only honest possession was the house before them and the contents. Plus a few Doshoua in a corral behind his home. He lived a simple life, but this was fine with him. It was how he liked it. Now he could share that life with the woman in his arms. If he could convince her they were fated mates and meant for one another. No one ever said Earther females were stubborn. It was something he had learned thus far of his own woman.

However, through the stubbornness there was a great deal of kindness and tenderness there. He hoped one day maybe even love, but for now he would settle with laying his claim and showing his female their home. He had butterflies and felt like a youngling male coming into his first sex hormones.

Ignes cleared his throat before stepping up to the massive doors and slowly let his mate slid down his body. Feeling every muscle on the way down. Including his desire for her. The erection was very detailed in this black pants. Hard and long and pulsing with desire.

"Tonight I lay claim to you Jen-nay of Earth. Tonight our bodies will be one and tomorrow everyone will know whom you belong to," he said huskily before giving his soon to be mate an explosive kiss.

His blood was on fire and he burned with need. To mark and to claim. He never felt this way before. There were rumors of fated mates. True mates that belong together and you only know by the amount of fire that rages in your blood. Even when the Goddess sleeps, there is fire. It rages until you claim each other.

That is how he feels now. Hot all over with a need to bite, to suck, and lick his mate everywhere. Even in the darker creases of her body. He wanted her to know who she belonged to and wanted others to see that no one could lay a hand on her. That she was his alone to protect and fuck.
