Y/n's POV
I sat down on the bench and listened to my favourite song, "Hero" by Enrique Iglesias.
I remembered the time I told Taehyung about this.

*At Tae's hometown
I was sitting by the farm and listening to my favourite song. Taehyung sat down and asked,
"What are you listening to?"
"My favourite song." She said.
"What is it?" He asked eagerly.
I handed him a earphone and I had one. I played the song and he was listening deeply into the song.
"It's really good." He said. I nodded.
"It's really has a soft tune and it's calm. Everytime listening to it, I am sure that I will find my hero, one day. It may be soon or later."
"That's great. And my wish for you to find your hero soon." he said. I smiled at it.

Now I have found my hero. But in reality, he's someone else's hero.
While I was remembering that time, I heard someone call me.
"Y/n." I looked up and saw Yoongi oppa.
"Oppa, what are you doing here?" I asked as I wiped my tears and looked at him.
"y/n, what happened? Why are your eyes swollen? Why are you crying?" He asked as he sat next to me.
"Nothing oppa, I'm fine." I said.
"Y/n, tell me what it is?"
"I-I am worried about Mark." I lied.
"Y/n, it's ok." He said and patted my back.
"Come on. I'll walk you home." he said.
"It's ok oppa. I'll go by myself. Sorry to disturb you."
"You didn't disturb me. I am heading to the dorm anyways. Wanna come there?" He asked. I wanted distraction from Taehyung so I nodded and walked with him.
It was a silent walk. We didn't talk anything.
"Want some chocolate?" He asked.
"I'm fine." I said.
"You can talk to us, don't feel scared or shy. We can help you."
"It's ok oppa. I am trying to overcome it. Maybe spending some time with you guys, I might forget it." He smiled.
"So how is Mark doing? Does he perform well?" I asked cause I haven't known about it for a while.
"Yeah, he's doing really well. He's gonna perform solo, for the music festival, coming this year." he said.
"I'm really happy to hear it." I said and smiled. I should focus on Mark now. He's my everything.
"You have a really talented brother, and so are you." He said.
"Well oppa, he is talented, but not as well as you." I said and he smiled.
"Oppa, do you smile rarely?"
"A-ani. Wae?" He said.
"Cause I've seen you smile rarely. Like very rarely." I said.
"It's not like that. I do smile, but I show more focus on my work than myself."
"If you smile, people around you will also feel happy about it."
"I'll smile everytime from today." He said. And we laughed.
We reached the dorm and headed in.
"Y/n, what are you doing here?" Jungkook asked as I entered.
"Why? Can't I come?" I asked confused.
"Ani, I was just surprised to see you here." he said. He started acting weird.
"Jungkook, is something wrong?" I asked.
"No. I'm fine." He said and went to his room.
"Is something wrong with him, or is he just like this cause I came?" I asked doubted.
"He is like that from the time he came from Taehyung's house. I don't know what's wrong with him."
Jimin said and I nodded.
I sat down and chatted with them for some while.
"Let's eat." Jin said. We nodded and sat down on the table.
"I'll go get Jungkook." I said and went to his room.
I opened the door and saw him seated on the bed and thinking about something.
"Jungkook." I called him and walked forward.
"What are you thinking so much?" I asked.
"Nothing. Just normal things." He said.
"You don't look like thinking about normal stuff." She said.
"Come, let's eat." I called him and walked but he pulled me back and we were close.
"What is wrong with you?" I asked, shocked by his sudden action.
"What is going on between you and Ara?"
'Does he know about it? No way.'
"What between me and Ara?" I asked like i didn't understand him.
"Don't act Y/n. I overheard you and her talking."
'When did he?' I was shocked hearing him.
"Y/n, tell me. Until and unless you tell, I'm not gonna leave you."
"I don't wanna talk about it now." I said tryin to avoid that topic for now.
"But this is not gonna end." he said and held my hand and walked out.
We both sat down and had some food with the others.
I didn't feel like doing anything after knowing Jungkook knew about it.
"Y/n, are you ok? You seem disturbed." Namjoon asked.
"No oppa. I'm fine. I guess I'm tired. I better head home now." I said and took my bag.
"I'll drop you home." Jungkook said and took his car keys.
I couldn't deny it now. So I agreed.
We got in the car and the drive was silent.
He stopped somewhere.
"Why are we here?" I asked.
"To talk." he said and got down. I didn't know how to react.
He came the other way and I got out and he held my hand and walked.
"Are you out of your mind?" I shouted a bit. He pulled me front and we had a pretty distance between us. I could see rage in his eyes.
"I am not. You are out of your mind. Do you even have some sense?" He asked angry.
"I know you like Tae hyung. why don't you just tell him?"
"How do you know that, whether I do or not?"
"I've seen the way you saw him. Why don't you just tell him? What is stopping you?"
"I can't do that and I don't like him anymore. Just forget about it."
"Why? Why are you lying? Why are you doing this? For who are you doing this? Just tell."
"Tell, tell, tell. What is there to tell? Everything's falling apart. Everything's going away from me. I just can't take it anymore. How long should I do this? How long should I just take in all the pain and never enjoy happiness? Why should I be the one to suffer? Why should I meet him? Why does she want me to hate him? Is she here for him or to take revenge on me? I thought this was the time I could be happy, after overcoming my father's death. But now, it is getting worse." I burst out in tears and said.
"What did I do to deserve this? I have to look after Mark also. He's my only strength or else I wouldn't even be here, talking to you. I am bearing every pain, so he could be fine, and not worry about me. Nor do I want you to worry over me. Sometimes, I don't even wanna live. But seeing Mark and you, I just forget that feeling. Jungkook, please don't leave me. You're the only friend, I still have." I said and fell on my knees.
He kneeled down and said,
"I won't Y/n. I won't leave you. I am always by your side." And he hugged me. I hugged him back and cried in his arms.
He caressed my back and comforted me.

Thrid person POV
There was a lot for Jungkook to take in. He never knew about this.
'Does she really like Tae-hyung or is she here to hurt Y/n?' He too was confused, like Y/n.
'Why would she want to hurt her?' He wondered.
'Let me see what she's gonna do first. Then soon, I'll put an end to this.' He decided and focused on Y/n, now. He decided to do it later.
"I'm sorry." She said in a low voice.
"No, don't be sorry." He said and comforted her.
"First let's get you home. Get up." He said and helped her get up and walked her to the car.
They both got in and he drove to Taehyung's house. Y/n stayed silent the whole ride.
They soon reached and he got down and he helped her get down. They both entered, and he sat down with Y/n.
"Would you like to have anything?" She asked.
"Just water would do." He said and Y/n got him some water.
Taehyung came out from his room and saw Y/n and Jungkook talking.
'She is normal with him but why is she not talking with me?' He wondered.
He just went out, without disturbing them and drove to Ara's house to help her move into his house.
"Will you be fine, staying here?" He asked worried.
"I will, and I have to. I don't want him to feel suspicious about it." She said.
"Do you think you're doing the right thing?" He asked.
"I don't know. I'm not sure. There are times when I think it's for good but at the same time I can't."
"If anything, call me. I'll take care of it. Take some rest and don't worry about anything." He said. She nodded and he left.
As he left, she went to her room and lay down and tried sleeping. She couldn't sleep but she forgot everything and closed her eyes and slept.
