Jack laughed victoriously. Meanwhile, all the kids looked at them as if they had seen something so alienated to them. They had never seen their elders, or parents behave that way to each other. It was different. It gave them tingles even just to watch it. Lila and Racheal put their hands over their eyes after everything was done and scolded Jack teasingly.
The children just stood there as if they did not belong there. The fact that they had to get back to their home hit Ekon and he slid off Lila's hand from his eyes and jerked his face towards Lia who was behind Conall.
"We have to leave... We need to go back home before our parents start panicking!" Ekon said as shuffled his legs in his place impatiently.
"God! Did you guys not inform your parents!? Why!? When do you need to get home!?" Lia asked as she went closer to Ekon.
"We need to start now if we want to be home before sundown!!" Ada said.
