His rigid and coordinated lifestyle has always been something of a mystery to Magret, she has been used to it by now but it still kinda bugged that her older brother is leading such a boring life. That's her opinion anyways.
While her sister was probably still concocting ways in her pretty little head another tact to make him agree to buffer her to the stupid party, Mason picked up the book he was reading before he was interrupted and continued to read.
"Please please come with me her sister his sister pouts" I promise we won't stay out late and you can get back to your stuffs without straining too far from your schedule.
Mason continued reading without paying much attention to his sister, he really love her but she can be a pain in the ass sometimes and he doesn't have time for one of antics today. He wants to make sure he finished the book he was reading before his next class. He likes being prepared like that.
Magret hadn't anticipated her brother refusing her since he most never does or she would've find the perfect argument to make agree to come with her. As it is she will have to appease to his protective instincts as a brother to get him to change his mind.
" I really don't understand why going to a party is such a big deal for you, it's not like we're going there to perform blood sacrifice or something. Think about it if you go to this party with me, you'll get to perform your favorite duty making sure I don't stray" and you also get to enjoy the thrills of the party as a bonus". she says in an attempt to regain her brother's fleeting and non existent interest in her suggestion.
