Chapter 11 - Truth

"It's time I send you to hell," said Siegfried. He opens a portal and sends his sword back into it.

"What have given up?" asked Jecht. Siegfried walks backward to the edge of the tower.

"No, I just think warm-ups are over," said Siegfried He falls back off the tower.

"Are you Crazy?" questioned Jecht in surprise. Jecht then sees a flash of where Siegfried dropped. Jecht sees a giant black scaly right arm coming up from the side he dropped from.

"Ah, crap he can turn into a Dragon," said Jecht in fear. Siegfried has transforms into a giant Shadow Dragon. Siegfried finally comes up the tower and lets out a mighty roar at Jecht. In the town of Gilead, The People look up at the tower and they start to panic. Siegfried lifts his right hand and swipes the top of the tower and grabs Jecht. Jecht struggles with his hand and has no avail.

"You see, Jecht this the true power of a Descendant. Too bad you never learn to use this power," said Siegfried. He slams Jecht at the ground of the top of the tower. Jecht felt as if his bone broke and gets up.

"Damn that could have killed me if I wasn't a Descendant or whatever he called it," said Jecht.

"I'm not done yet worm," said Siegfried. He picks up his right hand and slams it down towards Jecht. Jecht points his sword up and Siegfried stabs his own hand on the rusty great sword. Siegfried roared in pain. Jecht lunges at Siegfried and jumps on him and starts climbing his body. Jecht gets to his right shoulder and gets ready to swing his sword at Siegfried's head. But Siegfried then breathes black fire at him. Jecht falls back to the ground. Jecht tries to get up he then sees his left arm was burnt up. Jecht can barely pick his sword up.

"Damn it," said Jecht. He picks up his sword and barely can stand.

"He still coming at me even after that," thinks Siegfried. "He a tough one for sure. Jecht gets up with the help of the rusty great sword to his feet.

"Alright, what next?" asked Jecht. Siegfried transforms back into his human form.

"Enough," said Siegfried.

"What giving up?" asked Jecht.

"No, I am done fighting with a corpse," said Siegfried. It was now starting to become evening as started to stare at the sunset.

"What about Siri are you freeing her?" asked Jecht.

"She has always been free, Jecht," said Siegfried. "But I need you tell you this and you should not tell Siri this information."

"What?" asked Jecht sitting down from his injuries.

"That if you bring Siri back to her homeland you may only cause her great pain," said Siegfried. "you see Dragonia is no more it has been like this for the last thousands of years."

"Huh? But that doesn't make sense," said Jecht.

"It does because Siri has been asleep since then she was sealed away to protect her and we only recently found her in an old ruin in the Lands of Towerfall. She is the last Dragon, Jecht," said Siegfried. "it's the real reason I try to keep her from wanting to go home."

"This can't be true you're telling me her people are gone," said Jecht.

"Yes, I wish I was lying to you but it is true. The Empire destroyed The Dragon Race a long time ago and those who have remained are hiding or gone forever," said Siegfried. "This Empire's greatest sin."

"Damn," said Jecht.

"I will allow you to take her to Towerfall. so, she can finally have peace with her people. But is up you to you, Jecht to help her or try to hide the truth from her," said Siegfried. He leaves Jecht there to think about what he should do next.
