6| Sixth Chapter
She always made mistakes or choices and she's very good at that. Like how she mistakenly put salt instead of sugar in a cake that she baked for Sage's birthday but Sage still ate them and told her that it was her favorite gift she received and Joanne's heart aches and she doesn't know why that every time she remembers that memory it breaks her.
It breaks her to see Sage smiling and being grateful just because Joanne remembered its birthday.
Lies. Joanne always lies.
Joanne made a lot... like kissing and seeing other people or sleeping with them despite being in a supposed to be a happy relationship with Sage.
Joanne is definitely a cheater but in the end of every fight and misunderstanding Joanne will run and hug Sage and Sage will hug her back and let the sin begin all over again.
That is how terrible Joanne is but she doesn't know where to go when she is lost and the only way she knows to follow is the path that is shining and brightening. It was Sage.
Joanne, Joanne Blake who don't know what she wants in life. A toxic person who always wanted to ruin things and people finally found a match.
Sage who loves her dearly and deeply.
Joanne is not a kid and not a teenager anymore who can just go and play lives like it was young, wild and free but Joanne felt tired from running and being welcomed again.
She became tired of thinking about other things than herself. One day she cried of how she badly treated Sage and realized so many things.
She can't continue anymore.
Seriousness and maturity. Maybe Joanne is afraid of that or all along.
Scared of true commitment.
It was tiring for Joanne's inner demon who always wanted to be something else. Something liberated and not walled or caged. Something that is hard to describe and understand.
Sage becomes the natural thing to Joanne's life, Sage is starting to become a permanent marker.
Sage is now the usual thing in Joanne's life and she is starting to feel okay about that.
Sage is the candy and rainbows in Joanne's dark castle and she is afraid that her name Joanne Blake will be nothing if Sage Klein is not around and not part of her life.
A chaos that Joanne doesn't know how to fix.
Her heart is beating so loudly when Sage smiles, dances and anything Sage does. Like a virus that spreads to Joanne's soul and all it does is to make her heart fastened in its phase and draw lines with pastel colour and vibrant.
Joanne is afraid.
That kind of life is not what she planned in the first place when she decided to make Sage part of her life.
She learned to love and Joanne's inner self hated it.
