I stood in the same place without moving then one hand-pulled me aside.
" Can't you hear a vehicle honk?" One elderly lady yelled at me.
" I am sorry. I didn't notice it" I replied.
Meanwhile, Deeksha ran towards me and inquired, " Are you okay?".
" I am fine," I said in a calm tone.
I started walking towards our hostel without uttering any words. I took a hot bath and laid on the bed.
" Let's go for dinner. " Deeksha called me.
" I am not feeling hungry. You carry on" I informed.
" I was observing you from the first day, you always lost somewhere in your thoughts. I can understand that you are hiding so much pain in your heart. When you are comfortable with me, you can share it with me. I am always there for you as a friend" Deeksha gave a side hug.
I nodded my head plastering a smile.
