Chapter 76
Arthur jumps onto Night. He was trying to scratch his monitor. But something rippled him. He falls down on the floor.
"What is this?" Arthur asked
He was hurt. It wasn't a serious injury but it took him by surprise.
"Don't jump recklessly. Can't you see?" Harley said
"Don't tell me what to do. I wasn't made for fighting or being a butler. I was just created as a normal Angel working some minor working." Arthur said
"I am sorry for that. Now look closely. You would be able to see it." He said
He looks why he fall downs on the ground. He looks closely and carefully. He could see a barrier protecting Night. Night isn't able to put any barrier. He doesn't have Q'ua to begin with. How did the barrier came from then?
"What's that barrier for?" Arthur asked
"More like where did it came from?" Harley asked
She thought to herself [What barrier? I can't see anything out of the ordinary.]
She was confused. She didn't what was happening. She wasn't able to see the barrier because she didn't have Q'ua.
"I made that barrier." Ban said
"Why?" Harley asked
"Why are you stopping us?" Arthur asked
"It's because I knew you guys would jump onto him and attack him." He said
"Lord Ban! I am trying to do my duty as a Angel and as a creation of Lord Light. I believe you will understand and move from there and undo the barrier." He said
"I won't move neither undo the barrier." Ban said
"Lord Ban! Why are you acting like this?! You should clearly know the rules why are you stopping us!" Harley said
"Yeah, he is right. Why are you protecting me? Have you gone insane?!" Night said
She thought to herself [Wow! I am amazed. I didn't think their personalities would drastically just by badmouthing Light. It's almost as if they are different person.]
"Do you see Light anywhere around here?" Ban asked
"N-no. I don't see him anywhere around here." He said
"Who do you think have the highest authority in here?" Ban asked
"It's you. Lord Ban." Harley said
"Then listen to me." Ban said
"But still-" Arthur said
"Night is a living being. He isn't just an A.I. anymore. He have both feeling and consciousness. I think he have the right to be called a living being just like Natsumi said." Ban said
"Me? A real living being didn't expect to hear that from the substitute God." Night said
"You keep silent." Ban said
"Still you don't have the authority to say who is a real living being and who isn't." Harley said
"Light would have said the same thing as I did. Also don't you have a big sister? Isn't it your job to listen her?" Ban asked
Harley realizes his mistake.
"I am sorry, Sis." Harley apologized while bowing down.
"I-it's fine." Natsumi said. She startled when he said that.
She thought to herself [I startled for no reason right now. Still that might conclude this matter.]
"Overwork. 'sighs' Well, it's reasonable." He said
"Reasonable you said? Lord Ban! I am really grateful for you to take my side. I don't know anyone in this Heaven, who would take my side after I badmouth Lord Light. But Lord Ban! It's not just reasonable, it's justice for me if I destroy the entire Heaven for this. I have been summoned by Light 2 centuries ago. I was clueless. Didn't know where I was. How my program was still intact even though I have come in this new world. Light arrived in front of me told me all about this place and the reason why I was brought in here. Just to work for him! because he is lazy and tired for doing nothing! I was angry and furious. Even as a A.I. I had feelings like any other living being. He then told me what he was and showed me the proof. It was shock for me. Even though I was created in a very developed world seeing his power made it clear for me to see how much the difference is there between a God and a war-god machine. She thought to herself [Isn't that almost an entire day?!] She thought that while he was still talking
"I literally almost had no weekend free day or vacation. The only time I got vacation are just 3 days in a decade. Even today I had to give him some recipes. Help him. Show the Angels how to do it. It's tiring. As if I am their Mom. When I saw Harley making that dark chocolate cake, I knew it's my chance. It's now or never. But it seems like I failed." He said
"Sorry for the harsh time. Though it's only for 2 centuries." He said
"2 centuries is a long period of time! Don't you know?" He asked
"Of course, I know. But the difference between 2 centuries and 2000 years is very huge that I can't say anything to you." Ban said
"Still to me it was 2/3 of my lifetime." He said
"I am not saying that you suffered less and did less work from me. It's just the amount of time isn't that great for you to destroy the entire Heaven." Ban said
"Does that mean you are 2000 years old?" She asked
"I am not 2000 years old. It's just the amount of time I have been here as a substitute God. I am around 2500 years old." Ban said
She was surprised. She thought he was born in her generation because of his behaviors and talking like a man from this generation. But he was around 2500 years old. She was amazed by how long that time period is. She isn't even able to fathom the amount of time he wanted to go back and meet his family and relatives.
"That's a long period of time." She said
"It is. But compared to Light and the lord of Hell, the amount of time I lived is like a joke." He said
She thought to herself [Lord of Hell? Oh! He was meaning A by that.]
"I-i am sorry." Night said
"It seems like you understand what you did wrong. But still you will be punished for all the destruction happened." He said
"Gulps' What will be my punishment then? Will I be kicked from Heaven?" He asked
"Yes, he shall be kicked from the Heaven. He shall never even step a foot in the Heaven ever again." Arthur said angrily.
"Arthur is right." Harley said
"Wait a minute. Let's think before we pass the judgement. I am removing the barrier since the barrier isn't needed anymore." He said
He kicks the monitor again. It undo the barrier. But Night's A.I. and program system had a attack from that kick.

"Sorry for that." He said
Ban again kicked the monitor again. But it didn't destroy or make the program system issue even worse. It fixed the issues to Night surprise.
"Don't kick like that. This part of the monitor is the only monitor there is in the palace now. If it gets destroyed then I will just be a code and nothing else." He said
"Sorry, that wasn't intended" Ban said
