Chapter 55 - Chapter 54

Tamina walked to him kneeled on one knee and tapped on his shoulder, staring directed into his eyes, and answered, "Certainly we would, but before that, we must gain back our own power, thus, are you going to help us? Demons should be destroyed cause if they remain in each corner and successful to hide again their roots will increase and rise out of somewhere".

"Viro I wanted to tell you, but it was a tough pill and I couldn't swallow", the king mentioned.

"Yes your majesty I understand and I'll do my best with my whole heart, but I have a request".

"Tell me, what it is!" The king rose on his seat and they followed him stood up on their feet.

And the alchemist continued, "Elendeer, I believe that we must examine him give me the permission to do it in my own way please".

Tamina looked at him blankly, but paused and let her father speaks first.

"Alright, you've got the permission if it's enjoying the peace of your mind then do the right".

"Tonight all three moons will appear full above the Roughton Mountain and the last chance to open that gate, I want you to send Elendeer with us".

"No, that's insane father", Tamina emphasized.

"We need to give them what they want, please trust me I have a good plan".

The king gestured as he was thinking, his hands landed on his belt and said, "It is a great risk, but to see how much I underestimated my son it worth a risk so do it, I'm sure you have reasons, did you hide the crystal?"

"Thank you for giving me this honor. Yes, please don't you worry I had hidden this fiducial and please keep it in mind no one can ever open the gates except me and I'll take that secret to the grave with me".

The king sent out the permission and the princess had to bite her tongue and accept the explanation that the alchemist had given them.

They headed to the Roughton peak, where the white snow laid cold on the fine gateway. Tamina and Strandeer were steering the spaceship. Viro glimpsed out from the window, his face sounded morbid, dark circles under his eyes deepened. He was holding a deep sorrow, limbered his shoulder, and felt someone bounded him up to lift sinkers.

They landed down the mountain, where the stairs were buried under white snow. The outworn machine wasn't able to fly in high-level super-elevation and it made the path hard to pass. For Viro, going up the stairs with that wound could be even more dangerous.

Strandeer dropped off the passengers and got back to the cold castle to follow the orders. They climbed up to the peak while passing half of the way, Viro stopped. He was breathing hard, reached a hand to Elendeer grabbed his arm, and said, "Take this, I feel a bit sick when I told you to place it on the sign", handed a shining crystal to him.

"Sure, make no bones about it".

Tamina clenched her fist, didn't know what he had inside his big head that simply passed the crystal to him, while she was worried about his health. He wasn't natural like before.

They hit the last stair and dried the same as pieces of sticks, Betria was right across their sights wearing marten furs to kick the cold back. Before they bethink and make any move frozen bare swords greeted them on the backward of the necks. It was almost impossible to find the gate, no clear sign was there to show symbols or had not the slightest similarity with the very obvious gates of Farya, unless they had a spy between them the one who had sent signals to Betria and no longer had found the peak.

Betria wide opened his hands to the sides, his eyes glowed out of eagerness for beating down her. That black burnouse danced as the wind sang and followed to escort it, but locked on Betria's shoulder.

"My dear sister, it's been so long that I'm waiting here, why shall I seek the whole world to see you? Aren't we siblings?"

"But I didn't expect you here, listen Betria don't look the other way you are doing wrong, Lug…" gently said without attempting for her life. The odious and piteous tune of Tamina made him interrupt her, but the enormity of his deeds forced her to give it a try even though they believed he was treating the same as a mad man that avarice slaved him in craziness chains and blinded his eye.

"Hushhhhh… chillax the darling child of my father, it is too late for preaching while you're no clergyman, who knows what is wrong or good! The throne belongs to a king, not a queen!" He squibbed that she is endeavoring to catch something which is not hers.

He gestured to Elendeer and other eyes shifted to him, "my dear loyal ally… my brother tell me what did you brought me?" grabbed his sword hilt waiting for the response.

Elendeer glared at Tamina and Viro then disclosed, "I've told you that prince is also looking after the gate". He sneered at them then took the crystal out of his pocket and left it to the newly claimed king then stood right beside him.

Tamina drew out her sword, but more blades met her face, "You ratter I'll rip you half myself", she clamored the way that a few stones slithered down.

Viro was shocked by her reaction, "Calm down princess", his pain increased, but showing a tinge of weakness may reveal his plan.

"How could you trust him so simple?" She muttered.

"Please sister don't fight him everyone knows that humans of the earth are so naive, look he hardly can stand on feet". Smirked then turned to Elendeer and said, "Fine, show me how it works".

"Well… well… dear alchemist now you must choose between the gate and your ass". Unsheathed his sword and walked to him.

"Now you expressed the true face of yours", Viro whispered in his ears as he grabbed the back of his collar and pushed him forth. Elendeer was taller and muscular toward Viro so he couldn't resist that due to his condition of course.

Viro simpered he knew that Elendeer will bring the prince right here, "Alright, give me the stone!"
