Everyone gathered around a circular stone table inside the main hall. Dan reported about their current situation. To keep the folks safe, they were supposed to keep the enemy outside of the Erdimour boundary before the mountain's throat.
From that place, they could keep the battle close to an expanded zone. Elnan had a tough path to reach Erdimour and it was the rough roads, passing through mountains. The elves already camped there and sheltered in high places where they could watch the plains downward.
Looking down from the upper zone gave them the opportunity to shot the demon troops before approaching and hitting the bats better to cover humans who were fighting on the ground. The flaming arrows could scatter the beasts and lower the wounded numbers. Less fatality meant more chance to win.
