She had sneaked inside a room, which had a small window with a slight view, showing the demon's courtyard before the bridge where no demons could be seen. She docked her head to see if it was safe to peek around. It was on the west side where two conical pillars had high relief and guarded a triangle-shaped platform. On the east side of the bridge, she could discover a tower and unfortunately had no doorway! She prayed that wasn't the cells. If it were then how could she enter? Obviously, she couldn't even make a crack on those thick walls.
She leaned back and spread her legs straight, shut her eyelids. Her bones ached as she had walked a long way and endured the heavy air. The demon's world had frustrated her. She didn't know how long passed when the buzzing whispers woke her up.
