Ring. Ring. Ring. A repetitive shrill noise disturbed her. It was her phone. The alarm went off at 2:30 p.m. which meant that only half an hour went by .The time in the space went by 5 times slower than in reality.
Song Xia left the space she woke up covered in a smelly, black grime .This was impurities that were stored in her body.
After a quick but vigorous shower to remove the grime her skin which was already fair stared to glow like pure white jade and her leg felt 90% better. All scars on her body considerably lightened and all blemishes disappeared .
Song Xia dressed in a red T-shirt and a pair of dark grey sweat pants then left the apartment. Although her leg felt better she still wore an ankle brace and took her crutches with her to the clinic. She struggled to look for the address of the clinic on the phone but to no avail. Luckily there were children playing at the entrance of the apartment building who gave her directions .Song Xia had concluded that she needed to buy a new phone-preferably a smart phone but would keep the old phone because it had sentimental value to the original Song Xia.
The was a refreshing spring breeze in the air, green trees and newly blooming flowers that uplifted one's spirit .Song Xia enjoyed the walk and took notice of the surroundings .
After walking the next block she noticed a thrift door that sold second hand items. It felt as if something was calling her at the store. Instinctively she entered the small inconspicuous clothing store 'Little Treasures' .
When she entered there were racks of clothes and a few shelves in the front by the counter .It was a very neat set up although a few racks overflew with clothing. As she walked around the store she saw a glittery red mist towards the back. There surrounded in a halo of glittery mist was a female style boomer jacket which was mainly navy with yellow and pink stripes on the sleeves. A unique feature of the jacket was the rhinestone encrusted red rose was on the back.
She was excited as the glittery red mist indicated the jacket was genuine vintage brand. It was really a gorgeous piece but it did not suit her style so she had decided to resell it maybe after appraising it.
Although she found the jacket she continued to feel as if something was still calling to her. It was a lavender pendant near the counter that was in the shape of a flower strung with a black string. At first glance it looked like a fake jade and but it contained a dense golden mist indicating it must be a real jade pendant.
Song Xia slowly walked to the counter ,weary of bumping her crutches into a rack, to the counter and pointed to the pendant. "Hello, could you please tell me how much this pendant costs?''
The store owner was a man in his early twenties and he automatically disliked Song Xia because she was actually taller than him and gorgeous .She made him feel inferior and remember that when he was in school and the pretty girls made fun of him so he gave her a high price.
"100 yuan ''He replied with annoyed tone.
Song Xia did not understand why he was annoyed but just compromised as she knew it was worth much more than 100 yuan. The boomer jacket was marked for 150 yuan therefore he did not hike up the price .The young man was surprised that she had bought the necklace at such a high price.
After Song Xia left after politely thanking him he felt slightly guilty. Realizing that she did not seem like other pretty arrogant girls -like the ones from his school .He felt even worse when he saw her walking on crutches. He wanted to return 60 yuan to her but did not know how to speak to her and by the time he drifted out of his thoughts she had already left the shop.
It was the first time Song Xia had used her powers .She felt like a superhero out of a movie and marveled at the bracelets splendid power.
The wait at the clinic was long and busy. Song Xia reached the clinic at 3:45 pm and was still in the waiting room till 4:45 pm but she didn't mind because she knew how busy public health clinics and hospitals were.
During her appointment with a competent physiotherapist had basically confirmed her guess that she had basically recovered.
''Miss Song, your leg had mostly recovered and you will not need any further physiotherapy.''
The assistant nurse removed the ankle brace and applied a cooling gel onto her leg. The physiotherapist checked her chart for any further issues that could occur but was reassured by the performance function of her leg. He also marveled at the resilience of young people.
Leaving Song Xia with a few exercises to aid her healing leg as well advise her to come back to the clinic if she had any problems there was not much else he could do for her.

Song Xia rested in the waiting room while she waited for the nurse to prepare the progress report. Occasionally answering some of the nurses questions she texted Shi Qi that she would be leaving the clinic soon and that she must not worry about coming early to pick her up.
[Shi Qi: Xiao Xia, will you be okay?]
[Song Xia: Aunt, I will be fine.]
[Shi Qi: Take a taxi if you are tired .Rest early and you can order take away for supper.]
[Song Xia: Okay, Aunt. Have a good day at work. ]
Finally Shi Qi agreed, but when dealing with a new client she could not afford to leave early unless Song Xia really needed her.
