Chapter 6 - •5•

/At The Dorm/

"/You've found her/?!" The Queen of Eris, Satyra exclaims with a proud smile gracing her lips. "Well done." she congratulates her son.

"Yes, unfortunately-"

"/Where is she/?" The older questions, blue figure hovering above the wristwatch appearing jittery and elated all at once but it all fleets once she notices her son nervously massaging his nape, teeth gritting as his facial expression almost matches one of a grimace.

"You /lost/ her!" she screams, powerful voice ricocheting fear up the boy's spine. He loves his mother, calls her as often as any living, breathing boy should just to update her on his search and, of course, to check in because she's a mother and a mother has to hear from her baby. His only issue is, well-

"-have you not the slightest idea of how important it is that you two return to Eris! Our days are numbered, soldier. Absolutely numbered! And you know why? Because-"

"Mom-"

"I am speaking to you, you will address me by my respective name, soldier! This isn't something to be-"

"-taken lightly, yes, your highness." Solar finishes her sentence, lips curved in a minor frown, "I know." he bows his head, long, blond strands falling over his shoulders.

Silently, the Queen of Memorie gazes at her son's cowering form. It's moments like these she's reminded that this is her sweet, little boy. Recalls that he's all alone with no one to embrace him, care for him, give him kisses and watch out for him out there. No one from his immediate family at least. Since the day that he'd been forced to part with her, the day where all of Eris was halfway to their knees with only the kingdom's warriors and monarchy there to save the day. Struggling to fight and with only a sliver of hope left does Queen Cadenza, /her mother/ steps in to cast them away using a huge portion of her power to ward off as much of the enemy's attacks for years to come.

In the haste, She and King Martyr gather their children, kisses the crowns of their heads and sends them off to Earth. A safe place. A place where they are expected to hold out for one another, to train however they can and prepare to return and save their home. And there hasn't been a day that goes by where she doesn't eagerly await their return. However, things hadn't gone as planned, the two youngsters getting separated from each other. Her son getting adopted before her. Solar's other half. The one he needs to fight alongside with. Luna.

"Mom?" she hears, eyes blinking rapidly as she refocuses her sights. "Are you okay? You've been staring at me for five minutes." Solar asks, concerned. Oh how she misses her boy dearly.

Snapping back to reality, she clears her throat and straightens her fiery red, evening gown; her hands clasping behind her back. "Yes, I am indeed alright, Solar." she answers, gaping into her son's eyes and that's when she sighs, "And...I am sorry, son. I was merely overexcited at the news. I'm sure you have everything under control to come into contact with the princess...yes?"

Blinking owlishly, he responds a bit unexpectant of his mother's sudden apology. "Uh-uhm yes, mother." he fiddles with his fingers, a little tentative to share the next piece of information. "Actually, not so much?"

Satyra sighs, awaiting her son's elaboration as she places her chin in her left palm, right arm supporting.

"See, I didn't /exactly/ meet her. I kinda-sort of-bumped into her knocking her to the ground and almost getting confronted by her friend within that same time frame." he grins, cheekily, the older facepalming simultaneously.

"You /floored/ the /princess/?!" she yells, Solar bracing by covering his ears.

"No! Not /exactly/ because during that moment, it felt as if," he continues to explain, "as if she hadn't even realized her control or her /powers/ for that matter."

"I see. So, her body had a reaction to yours because of that minor contact."

"Yes! And as you know, mother, if we were to allow ourselves to detach from our natural inclination for so long then-"

"We undergo a thorough convulsion and although she didn't activate her abilities on her own, your presence involuntarily recharged her instinctual system."

"Mooomm~ you're stealing my thunder here~." the blond male whines, pouting like a baby as he folds his arms; upset.

"Oh, I'm sorry baby." she chuckles lightly before she's called on by one of the servants, stating her time is running out. "Well, it seems I have to go now. You keep doing whatever it takes, soldier." her powerful voice returning, nodding her head seriously.

Bowing respectfully, Solar concurs, reassuring her highness that he would not disappoint.

And with a short stare and small smile, she wishes him a farewell for now and ends the call.

Standing in the now dark room, Solar huffs out a bit of air, running his fingers through some strands of hair and proceeds with putting together his room. He's yet to meet his roommate, from the looks of the items in the boxes near the sofa he suspects his roommate's a female.

'/Oh great/!' he thought as he recalls the endless underwear piled into one of them. He's not a pervert he promises. It's just in his haste to get back to his room and report his findings, it more or less resulted in him tripping over a box or two. Said box filled with an assortment of underwear of many different colours and types. A lot of them were black and blue-

"/Okay/ you could /stop/ thinking about that now, Solar." he mutters to himself.

Eventually, he places himself on his bed, finished with packing successfully. As he holds his phone checking through the small amount of messages sent in the group chat between him, Isle and Hugh; he notices an image sent as well. In the photo it shows a girl with blue-

Solar gasps, abruptly, continuing to scroll through the messages seeing Isle teasing Hugh relentlessly about the blush he was sporting when he first saw the girl. Noting about how hilarious and dumb he looks and that he, Solar, should see this. And that's when Solar facepalms because,

'/Wonderful!/ Now one of his buddies has a /crush/ on the girl he's supposed to encounter and train for an intergalactic war to save Eris; their home. Beautiful/.'

"That's just awesome." he groans, rubbing his fingers down his visage. "How much worse can this all get."

//Over An Hour Later//

"You're /sure/ that you're alright?" Annika queries for the thousandth time, holding Luna close to her as they head up Luna's dorm building's stairs. "Need ice? Band-aids? Food? /Kisses/?"

"Annika! Annika, I'm going to say this one last time." Luna starts, "I. am. fine. That incident happened over an /hour/ ago, hon." she gestures to herself, showing that everything is 'A-Okay'.

Reluctant to her friend's countless reassurances, she lets Luna be. "Fine but as soon as I hear a peep or spot a limp-"

"Yes. Yes, I heard you, Joy. Can we keep going now? I really need to start packing up."

"Yeah, sure whatever." Annika rolls her eyes, arms folded as the two make it down the hallway silently.

Once they arrive in front the door, Luna slip her keys in only to realize, "Oh. My roommate's here." she says, twisting the doorknob and walking in. "I can't wait to meet them." she smiles, collecting one of her boxes near the Modular.

"Ooo~ I wonder if this roommate comes with a schlo-"

"Annika! Jeez!" the blue-haired scolds, nose wrinkling in disgust, "Must you be so crass?"

"/What/? I'm only vocalizing our thoughts." she shrugs, nonchalant.

"Uh no, you mean /your/ thoughts." the other shakes her head, ultimately done with her best friend.

"Tomato, Ketchup. Same difference."

Luna sighs.

"Okay. I'm going to pack. You can see yourself out now." she dismisses before walking into the vacant room to set up. It isn't until she's unpacking the seventh item when she hears a gasp, a shout following after from the living room she had left no longer than five minutes ago.

"It's /YOU/!" is what makes her race to the sound of her best friend.

Only what she witnesses before her, is the male figure who collided into her on the sidewalk and fled, not even caring to stay back and wonder about her safety.

"You! You-you're my /roommate/?" she cries in disbelief, eyes widening.
