It's Saturday morning and I woke up feeling amazing because today is the day my package is coming.It's winter so the collection by Aneles couldn't have come at a better time.
Coming up with looks everyday can be stressful and that's a lot coming from me I barely care how I look when I go to school,I'm there to learn and not look good for John in physics.
I'm getting my package from my mom's house because she's the one who ordered it for me.I decided to stop by Sandwich Inc ,since it's been a busy week,between hockey practice and assignments I have not been able to go there.I don't know what it is about that place but I just love it .
Not to mention the service is amazing ,they all know me there and treat me like family ,since Gemma knows I live far from home,she treats me as if I were her own.Not to mention the sandwiches are so divine, it's like little fairies moonwalking on your tongue.I grab a few clothes I need for the weekend at my mom's and head to Sandwich Inc.
I an immediately greeted by sweet aromas in the air and a grin from Emma ,Gemma's daughter.She manages the place on weekends so her mom can get some well deserved rest.
'Hey Aka,how have you been',she said with a megawatt smile.
Usually her smile annoys me,nothing personal but you see because I'm not a morning person I get a tad moody but today was one of those rare days so I returned the smile or atleast tried to.
She has a lovely face so when she smiles it can light up New York City after dark ,me however because my eyes are small when I grin,my eyes look like they are closed and one actually closes when I laugh.
'I'm wonderful,school has been busy but it's going well.How about you ,how's school.'
'It's going well but since it's my last year there's a lot of pressure but I just can't wait for it to all end',she says with a tight lipped smile.
'How I wish I was you ,ah well',I grumble.
'It's only the second semester for you though',she giggles.
'Your point?',I say with a arched eyebrow or atleast tried to, yes ladies and gentlemen I can't arch an eyebrow without atleast flaring my nose.
'I'm just saying ,ever since I've known you all you ever seem to talk about is how you're trying out a new diet or yoga poses or school assignments or some 'must read',it's never never normal things kids your age do for fun..'
'Okay you've made your point',I cut her off,I didn't need her to tell me how sad my life is and I don't obsess over diets I just like eating healthy,I'm not a rabbit by no means.
'You need to go out and live a little,let your hair down,go to parties I'm not saying be reckless but you won't get this time again.'
I hate to admit it but she has a point.I can't remember the last time I went out and had fun had fun.Alex would ask me to accompany her to parties or outings but I always had a reason not to go.
Truth be told I wasn't always this way,disconnected from the world,I wasn't a party animal or anything but I used to let my hair down once in a while.
'Okay I'll go the next party if you promise that you'll come with.'
'We go to the same school so that shouldn't be hard just don't bring your weird classmates Alex is cool I like her,no offense but the folk in your class is so weird.'
She had a point my class is Geekville.
We catch up then I decide to have takeaway because time has passed.As I'm waiting,you'll not believe who walked in,it was Mr SAL.He must have sensed me all but undressing him with my eyes because he looked over and smirked,a I-know-I-look-great smirk.
He confidently strides towards me like he owns the place.

'Don't worry,I'm here. I'm just grabbing the popcorn because it's about to go down by that I mean you're gonna make a fool of yourself',she says with a smirk.
'Thanks a lot but I'm sure inner voices are supposed to help.'
'Ohhhhh that's a pity,is that why I'm here ahhh well we can't always get what we want',she says crossing her legs and adjusting her half moon glasses.
'Hey bella ,lemme buy you a drink as a piece offering',he drawls.
Okay lemme hit you up with the headline,this guy has a British accent not only that the way he said bella was so drawn out and heavy with an accent.How am I still standing?
Wait what...
'Piece offering?',I ask in bewilderment,'For what?'
'Well you gave quite a speech on how much you despise me the last time we met...',he says matter of factly.
'Firstly I don't despise you,I don't even know you...'
'Then why were you so quick to assume I wanted to get in your pants',he countered.
'Maybe I just don't like your face',I counter.

'I'm Nicolas Romano ,I'm twenty six ,what about you',he said in a condescending tone then smiles as if he didn't just insult me.
I roll my eyes ,ah what the heck.
'I'm Akashinga but you can call me Aka for short and I'm 20.'

'The brave one!',I say proudly.
'Here's your order Aka...ohhhh hey there',she says nudging me wiggling her eyebrows.Talk about discrete.
