Chapter 1 - You Spelt Trouble

It was an ordinary day as she traveled home. I mean if you wanted her dead it would have been so easy, she has been using the same route home for the past two years.

But today her fate was about to change.

As she sat in the bus totally unbothered by the noise around her, completely delved into her phone.

"Hi" he said, and without even turning to look up at him she just said hi and continued whatever it is she was doing on her phone. " I've been admiring you for a while, but I was too scared to approach you. Can I have your number ? I'd love to conversation." "Ummm, no" she quickly spat. "I don't really give out my number." Taking her phone from her hand he said, "no worries just take mine. As he entered his number into the phone she just thought to herself, " if I don't want him with my number why would I even consider texting him? Idiot. "

Just as he was about ready to hand her her phone, she heard an all too familiar voice "take mine too." He entered his number and handed her her phone, but before he left he said, "Constantine, save the number." And with that he just left.

"Is he for real?" She was thought. "Who the hell dies he even think he is?" But with all this she knew deep down down she'd had the biggest crush on him for a while but would never date him. But why was show so giddy? She was hell bent on avoiding him.

2 months had passed and she had succeeded in avoiding him totally. And proud if herself she was. What she didn't know was that her luck was about to run out. What did this all mean for her? Sitting directly behind the driver's seat lost in her phone doing whatever it is she does on that phone, she heard the driver's door slammed shut and to her surprise there he was. "Shit" was all she managed to exclaim before she held her head down hiding her face behind his seat. "Get a grip idiot, he has to see you. Plus he'll probably just ignore you, after all its been two whole months and people lose interest after awhile." She was ranting in her own head.

As the bus continued she realized she was almost at her stop, she had to come off but how was she going to face him. "Snap out out if it" she thought. She was literally fighting with herself. "Bus stop", and there it was. The bus slowed down and he lifted his head to the rare view mirror and their eyes met.

" So my number was a souvenir after all? " he spoke calmly.

"No" she quickly responded with a smile and exited the bus a fast as she could.

She smiled all the way home. "Well, now you have my number. Are you satisfied and happy?" Was all her text said. He responded quicker that she expected, "yes very happy and satisfied baby. I've been waiting ѳn this day. I'll text you when I finish working 😘." "ѳk" she quickly responded.

She did everything she had to do, so when he texted she was available to talk. Why was she so excited when she said she wouldn't date him. He was a busy driver and she wouldn't lower her standard. But there was something different about him.

It was about 9pm, her phone vibrated. Who was it she wondered because she didn't accept calls or texts at that time if the night. But it was him. "Hi, I just finished working. How are you?" She was about to break her own no text or call after 9pm rule. "Hey, I'm OK. How was your day?" she asked. "You were the best part of it, so my day was better than good." He sounded so genuine.

Days passed and the conversations got better and the feelings grew stronger. Was this even what she wanted? Not a day had gone by without him texting. She felt like she was his and he was certainly hers. Could this be my fairytale coming through?

They started spending more than enough time together, she was like his little baby. He held her hands always, she was always by his side and he seemed never to want her to leave. He was overprotective of her his own friends had to keep their distance but that never bothered her, she was enjoying every bit of it.

Three months had gone by and they saw each other every day except Saturdays and Sundays and nothing brought them more joy. They ignored the occasional fights because they kept each other smiling. Was this fate? Was this their destiny? Was this a fairytale with a happy ending? Or was is just two persons with feelings for each other having their emotions run wild?

After all she's been through, truth is she knows not to expect it to work but secretly hopes it does. Will he fall for her like she's fallen for him? Or will he end up being just like the others?

Well guys hi, first thank you for deciding to give this book a try. This is just chapter one and its clearly just starting and an hope so far you wanna go further. Leave your comments. Help me continue.

Please don't be rude. I enjoy criticism tho. Writing is just my way to clearing my head from the stresses of university, family and my personal life. Oh I clearly have no social life. Id rather stay home and read eat or sleep. When I'm not writing if course.

I just decided to step away from the regular men in suit possessive being CEO etc. I'm Jamaican and so I decided I'd give you guys a taste of the Jamaican version of things.

Some chapters will be long and some will be short..

Look forward to hearing from you guys.
