Our story continues 3 centuries later...
Humanity has once again at the top of the food chain and its population grew back to a billion. Many things were invented that help humans along the years, The combination of technology and brand new materials and new logics made humanity stronger and more advance.
The territory of humans has now expanded and is being ruled by the descendants of the artifact wielders, although the artifacts no longer exist due to the original leaders losing a fight against 3 Celestial beast. All artifacts was lost however they were able to kill one of the beast marking the another point in history. It is said that the artifacts severely wounded the beast and are still stuck in the beasts body until now.
The celestial beasts retreated to their domains and so does humans until they found out the importance of the item that the dead celestial beasts dropped. It was the key to another part of this dimension thus opening another chunk of uncharted lands.
They sent several mercenaries and explorers to traverse the lands and see what is beyond. To their surprise though this region was more cruel and Fierce beast and above roamed the lands and unlike the fierce beast in their now called "home", they were much stronger and cunning. It was also discovered that a non-evolved person dies just by entering the portal.
The second region became the hunting grounds of the strong many became strong evolvers and many perished. There are people who achieved great lifespans however they still cant escape death's scythe.

Our true stort begin with a young lad named Maxx Forev.
Today Maxx has reached 18 and was now considered adult. It was the right age to hunt beasts and gain power. He then began registration and proceeded to the exit to the City. It was maxx's first time to go outside for according to the law no one under age of 18 is allowed ro exit the city walls and this is for a good reason. If one manage to kill a beast out of pure luck he/she will suffer a major backlash since their body isnt able to withstand the power of genes. You would be lucky to survive as a cripple for it has a 90% chance to kill you while the remaining percent would mean that you would remain as a cripple forever not even the advance medical equipment gonna help you.
If you are wondering about how about trnasportation? Portals also lead to other locations this helped shorten the transportation time of all things and it doesnt use gas or fuels, just a certain type of crystal from a hybrid beast would be able to power the machine until a century.
