The attack from linked Naga sword that Max used make the Sharplodon pushed away. They are safe, just for now. But Yuki seems to be so exhausted after using her ice elemental skill.

And then Max walked closer to Yuki as he returned the Naga sword into his belt.
"Are you alright?", Max asked Yuki condition.
" Yes, I'm fine", Yuki replied him.
"That attack can't cut that shark, but look like that sent it away for moment..", Max tried to explain.
" Really? That means only a warrior of the sea that can defeat it... That will be troublesome then..", she said it as she looked like felt upset by that.
"Warrior of the sea..? Oh! Yuki, isn't it? You are water elemental user, so you mean you are a warrior of the sea too, right?", Max tried to understand the things.
"Oh, it's true that I am a water elemental user, but I'm not a warrior of the sea", said Yuki.
" Oh, really?! So, what kind of it?", Max gave another question to Yuki while he was taking off his helmet.
"Warrior of the sea is-..., Wait! You are the guy who is on board of that ship! How c-..", Yuki seemed surprised to know that the red suit warrior was Max, the guy who had she met on the ship last time.
"Yeah, so what? Are you disappointing or something?", Max cut the words from Yuki as he showed his annoyed face.
"No, I'm not. I just don't know that you are.. well.. you are-..", Yuki felt embracing to know that fact, as she was feeling nervous that she couldn't say the words properly.
"I am a warrior? Do you want to say that?", Max said it to confirm his thought and Yuki replied it by nodding in her quiet.
"Hold up! Are you perhaps being polite or something? Cause your attitude last time on the ship showed that you're far to be called polite!", Max explained his irritating.
"I'm sorry if that's rude. I'm just being in rush, Sharplodon has already nearby that time, I can't manage to get proper evacuation..", this time Yuki started to explain the situation.
"Hmm... I didn't really see it that time, or perhaps you, no, your tribe customs, they usually treat the warriors politely, am I right?", Max asked.
"Emm... Well, you're right! But, look like I'm gonna break that customs right now!", Yuki said it in serious expression on her face while she was standing up.
"What do you mean by that?", Max asked her as he didn't get what she meant to.
"Watch out!!", Yuki was shouting as she ran toward Max and pushed him to the side away from her.
The green vine was striking that way, and they two could evade that strike. But some other vines had ready to strike them again. That's so, Yuki dodged every vines that got toward her. Meanwhile Max had wore his helmet and used his blades that he drew from his belt to cut every vines which came toward him.
"Do these vines come from it? I mean Sharplodon?", Max tried to ask Yuki to confirmation.
"Look like so... But I never know there is kind of Sharplodon that has anything to attack except its fins and its teeth", Yuki answered Max question but she got confused herself.
While they two were dealing with those vines, a big shadow approached from the bottom of ice break where Max and Yuki stood. It was Sharplodon, it tried to stroke from below of that ice break. And it did, it made the ice break flied to the air as it pushed from the bottom. Max and Yuki lost their balance to stand on their feet, they almost fell to the sea but they had grip on that ice break.
After a few moments, the ice break fell down again to the water, it was still floating on the water with no cracks. The Sharplodon had back to the bottom of the sea, so did the vines.
"Hey! You're alright?", Max was asking to Yuki.
" Yeah, somehow I can manage..", said Yuki as she looked so tired on her face.
"This ice break is great, it doesn't break after that attacks", Max amazed.
" But it will melt in no time anyway", said Yuki cynicly.
" But your ice skill, can it hurt that shark?", Max asked another question.
" Maybe..", she answered it, shortly.
"But the last time I saw you against that shark, you looked so troubled thoo", said Max.
"... Maybe..", she said it shortly.
"Can't you make it sharp? I mean the the ice block, with big size..", Max asked Yuki to do what he wanted.
" Hhh.. listen up warrior! I've planned to make one last time, you know, but then you order me to make this ice for your foot steps. And you know, ice element style is an advance skill from water element style, it requires much energy than it used to when I use water element. And I've used all my energy to make this ice steps. Do you get it?! I'm dried out!", this time, Yuki showed her annoyed expression to Max.
"I see... We should use another method then..", Max said it calmly like he didn't really care about Yuki's condition.
Max was thinking about how to defeat that Sharplodon, Yuki was focus on her energy recovery and the situation turned into silent, so quiet.
"Wait! Do you think it is just too quiet? Does it go away?", Max talked to Yuki, he thought it was strange to be quiet for that moment.
Suddenly the vines came out from the water, one by one, it popped out and surrounded the ice break, they two got surrounded. Max was rising his blades, ready to cut those vines. Then those vines moved together, tangled all sides of that ice break. After that those vines made the ice break moving.
"It's moving toward the Sharplodon!", Yuki shouted as she pointed to the direction of Sharplodon which waited on the way of that ice break moving path.
Max moved quickly to the side of ice break which some vines tangled. He tried to cut them, but another vines popped out from the water and attacked him. He couldn't cut the tangled vines because of the other vines distraction. He even got troubled cause of that vines.
Meanwhile, the Sharplodon started to move, that made the gap between them closer even faster. They two got in pinch, Max had his hands full to take care of the vines which attacked them and Yuki still had no power to fight back or even to use her powers. She sat on there waited what things would happen next. Even she could try to jump in to the sea, she wouldn't certain that she could swim well to dodge every attacks of the Sharplodon.
Seconds to seconds, Sharplodon got close to in contact. And when it got to its range, it dived in then jumped up toward Yuki, Sharplodon was really close to eat Yuki who got binded by the vines. She couldn't move anymore, but at the time when she was almost reached by the Sharplodon, Max with his Naga blades mode on his hands was spinning, stroke the Sharplodon from its side and deviated it away to the sea. Sharplodon slammed to the sea and Max had finished all the vines which attacked them.
"Such a hard skin! Naga sword can't give it a scratch even with tornado attack!", Max got little surprised that his attack couldn't through the hard skin of Sharplodon.
"Hei! If you have times to space out, will you lemme a hand to cut these binding vined?", seeing Max spaced out, Yuki asked him to help her out of the vines which binded her.
"Oh, sorry! Right away!", Max cut all the vines to help Yuki away from it.
After Sharplodon was being attacks by Max, the vines seemed stopped, no more vines were attacking or appearing. The situation was being so quiet so sudden.
"It will strike back from below again, won't it?", said Max.
"Prepare your self!", Yuki started to be in caution.
Minutes by minutes, the times went so long to be in felt. Max and Yuki were looking around the area to search whereabout the Sharplodon or the vines as they kept on their guards up to be ready for the surprised attacks. So, long they were waiting and being in wary but no sign of Sharplodon or the vines.
"Are they go already?", Max suddenly spoke out in curiously.
"Maybe, I don't know!", replied Yuki to Max.
"Maybe my last attacks are really give it the damages after all", Max proudly boasted himself.
" Huhh.. I don't think so..", Yuki felt annoyed by that.
And then suddenly something big came out to surface, it was nearby the ice break where Max and Yuki stood. It was the Sharplodon, it was flying to the sky and back to the sea. Given big splashes around and made the ice break drifted off. Surprised by that, Max and Yuki fell to the sea by the waves. Just after they fell, Max noticed that Sharplodon felt their presents in the water. Max prepared himself to counter Sharplodon's attack while Sharplodon itself was starting to move toward their way. But in the water Max movements were so limited, he hardly moved around on his floating state. That was so, Sharplodon was swimming fast toward them but it was not really targeting Max who had prepared to counter its attack, it was targeting Yuki instead of Max.
"Hei! Watch out!", Max shouted to warn Yuki who didn't notice that Sharplodon was on her way.
Hearing Max voice who shouted for warning, Yuki started to waving her arms, she tried to use her power to make the water waves. But looked like her power hadn't recovered yet, the water wave didn't as strong as it used to. She couldn't think anything that she could to counter Sharplodon, she quickly swam away to the surface, she went toward the ice break that drifted on the water surface. She thought she would be safer there. But Sharplodon swam faster than her, it almost reached her that was still far away from the ice break.
