**Andria's POV**
My head was as if it was about to explode. This kind of pain was unbearable. My body was shivering and I was feeling so cold. I wished I couldn't feel anything and be numb, but no. I could feel every sting on my wound and thumping of each vein in my head. I admit, it was better to die than to feel this kind of pain for hours.
"Andria? You're shaking." Michael looked down at me from his seat as he slowly stood up, hands and feet still tied together. He hopped a couple of times until he reached my position. "Y-you're so pale."
"I'm so cold." I said, not able to stop my teeth from chattering.
Michael slowly bent his knees, crouching in front of me as I laid on the floor. Those monsters did not even find the idea of helping me get up and sit on the chair if they really wanted me to sit on it and not stumble on it. He slowly shook his head, clearly feeling pity on me. "I'm going to get you out of here I promise."
His words seemed a little bit wrong, as if something was missing but I could not quite figure it out so the words "Don't get yourself hurt." were the words I managed to speak. I really did not want to move or even speak; I just wanted to take a rest. However, since my body was aching, I guess taking a rest was impossible.
The freezing of my skin and the increasing heat inside my body continued as minutes passed, along with the uneasy itchy feeling of not taking a bath for days while the blood dried up on my skin and covered with dust. I pulled my knees till it reached up to my chin as I tried to cover the revealed skin of my chest but it still didn't help to decrease the shivering coldness that I was feeling right now. As my mind slowly blurred, I saw Michael hopping towards Brian's dead body. Soon, he sat beside him, his back facing him by the midsection and I did not know what he was doing. I know Brian was already dead and unable to hurt him so what was happening?
After a few minutes, it seemed like he was done with whatever he was doing right there, he moved his feet and dragged his bottom a few times to move away from the disgusting creature on the floor, stopped for a while and seemed to be focused on something as his brows furrowed in concentration. His elbows moved as his muscles flexed on his arms, he was maybe doing something on his hands that were tightly tied together.
Suddenly, my eyes widened as his arms broke loose, revealing a small Swiss knife on his hand and cutting the rope that tied his feet together.
He stood up and walked towards me, crouching as he cutted the ropes on my hands and feet, then pressed his palm on my forehead. "You've got a fever. I must hurry." He said, rushing towards the door and pressing his ear on it.
"Where are you going Michael?"
He walked briskly back to me. "I'm going to get you out of here."
I looked at him, confused of how he just said you instead of us. "What do you mean you're going to get me out of here? It's supposed to be us."
He shook his head. "We'll be too lucky if we made it out of here the two of us. But I have to tell you something."
His emerald eye still fixed on mine and still had this worried look on his face that I found very fascinating and amusing.
I knew I might not live for long and not be able to survive the horrible things that happened to me, or us. Moreover, I did not want to waste any time.
"Listen Andria, I'm going to make a plan to make it easier for you to escape but you have to promise me-"
I cupped his cheeks, ignoring the words he was saying and let myself feel his soft lips once again. It made me feel alive again for God knows what reasons, and I felt my heart beating fast again, in a good way for that matter. I tasted his lips and smelled his scent. I could not stop my tears from falling as his arms snaked around my waist and pulling me closer. Out of breath, we pulled away from each other and I whispered the most selfish words to him. "I'm not going anywhere without you Michael, and don't leave my side. Please."
I knew I was dying; he could escape if he wanted to. But why was I becoming so selfish? I had been shot and I knew I was not going to make it. It was getting harder to breathe, the wound got really swollen, and infection was spreading fast. He could just escape without me because in the condition that I was in, it could only lead to one thing, and it would be Death.
He cupped my cheeks and made me face him. His face was just a few inches away from mine as he looked at me straight in the eye. "Andria, don't make it hard for me. We can only try one more time. And if we fail again, they might kill us."
It isn't too bad you're both gonna die. Your pity souls will be happy together in the end. The voice inside my head echoesld and I tried to ignore it. Was I really becoming insane?
"Promise me you'll help me with this." His brows arched, waiting for my answer. "You'll be brave and make it out of here to ask for help, right?"
I didn't know how would I react, I simply didn't want to leave him.
He closed his eyes and let our foreheads touch. "Andria, please I'm begging you."
"I'm dying Michael. I'm not going to make it."
"You'll make it Andria. You will make it. I know it."
Michael quickly moved away from me as soon as we heard footsteps approaching the door. I was thinking of going back to our previous positions and act like we're still tied but Michael carried me across the room and went by the door. And as soon as the door opened, we would not be noticed until the door closeed back again.
"HEY!" the man's voice echoed the room. "They're not here."
"What do you mean they're not there?" another voice said along with footsteps approaching.
Michael's head turned to face me, leaning closer till his lips touched my ear. "Be ready."
I could hear the faint sound of my heart drumming inside my chest as I tried my best to breathe steadily. He had not told me his plan yet and now I had to figure it out by his actions and follow him.
Another man entered the room. "Fucking shit, where the hell are they?"
As they walked a little further more towards the middle of the room, Michael held my hand tighter and I got a hint of what is next.
"Go." He whispered, walking out from behind the door. I followed him and held his hand tight, trying to gather all my strength to run and level his speed.
We went through the living room, and I spotted the other two of them playing cards on the table, the opposite way of our direction. I saw them throwing their cards upon seeing us and standing up from their seats as my mind seemed to play it on slow motion.
We made it outside and Michael let go of my hand.
I turned around halfway towards the woods and saw him closing the door and holding the door handle tightly.
"Run, now!"
"No Michael, come with me." I said confusedly.
His eyes stared at me, begging me to do it. My mind was swirling and I could not think straight. The door started to pull open against his grasp and Michael tried his best to stop it from opening. He stepped his right foot against the doorframe to strengthen his pull as the door keeps pulling against his. I could see him screaming and telling me something but I could not seem to understand as my mind seemed malfunctioning. All I knew was that I was not leaving without Michael and I would not leaving him.
My knees weakened as tears filled my sight. I slowly slumped into the ground as I hear him screaming my name, begging please... please go, and run.
I was startled when there was gunfire. Michael stumbled backwards but showed no sign that he was shot.
Soon the monsters came walking towards him and pointing a gun on his head. "No!" I screamed. Right after they heard me, the two of them came walking towards me.
Crying, I let them drag me inside the cabin and into the room again....
