After Merlin left, I became a ticking time bomb. I managed to convince George, Donatello, and Joan to let us stay for a few more days. I convinced myself that he would come back to teach me because I was the "hero." A few days became two weeks with no sign of Merlin or Arthur. I spent all the two weeks practicing my magic and swordsmanship with Donatello and George.
Every time George told me to take a break from magic, I'd pick up a bow and beg Joan to teach me to use it. When she told me to rest, I went to Nara to learn how to bandage and treat wounds properly. After she told me to stop, I would find Donatello and ask him to teach me how to use a dagger. At "rest" time, I'd go and duel Nathaniel. When it was time to sleep, I practiced my magic. This was the cycle I was stuck in for two weeks.
One night, everyone sat me down at the campfire and asked me the obvious question: what's wrong? I denied that something was wrong. I didn't tell them how I'm too scared to fall asleep, or how I feel like dead weight or how I felt everything was my fault. I said nothing. They saw that I wasn't going to tell them anything, so instead they got me to go to bed. And like that I fell asleep.
I found myself in the same place as the previous dream except that time, when Zephyr went to kill my parents, I turned away and wished for dawn to come. I saw something glimmer in the corner of my eye and turned to reach for it. It was an intricately designed sword. I grabbed it and turned to Zephyr, who was about to kill Elizabeth. I blasted him with magic and used the sword to pin him down.
He begged for his life to be spared, but I didn't. I ran him through with the sword and then turned to my sister. She was running away from me again, but I stopped her before she could. I grabbed her and asked her why she was still scared of me, and that was then I saw my reflection in her eyes. She was scared because she didn't see me. She saw the monster I had become.
I immediately got up and grabbed George's sword. I ran up to the closest tree and just wacked it over and over and over again. Joan and Nathaniel tried to calm me down, but I burned them when I did. Donatello then tried to grab me, but I blasted him back and raised my sword to them. They carefully approached me and got me to lower my sword long enough for me to sniff a weird looking flower. I burned it after I did, but then I fell asleep again. That dream was different, though. I was falling through the sky.
