"Fine, I'll do it," said Wave reluctantly.
"Good, now you won't be banned from going into her establishments," said Aegir cheerfully.
"Damn, so I had no choice in the matter," Wave replies upsetly.
"Well, you did have a choice," replied Aegir.
"Sure I did, anyway. Can you remove this?" asked Wave as he pointed at the mouth of the beer.
"No, you've had enough for today," said Aegir as he stepped over a drunken man lying on the ground.
"What, give me one reason I shouldn't have a drink? Wave questioned him.
"Well, you have a job to do, and you being drunk will result in a greater chance of you failing.
Also, why would you want to drink when you have horrible hangovers?" asked Aegir inquisitively.
Wave looks at him while giving a long sigh, "Fine, do you want me to drop you off?" Wave puts down his beer bottle after asking.
"Yeah, you can drop me off at my apartment," Aegir said, replying to Wave while walking towards him.
Wave places his hand on Aegir's shoulder. "Later, old man," said Wave.
Wave looks up to see the wooden house. He quickly rushes to the grass. He leaned against the unsteady gait that stretched around the house. The vomit pooled beneath him as Wave collapsed on all fours. He clenched his stomach in pain.
"Are you okay, Wave?" asked Aegir worriedly.
"Yeah, I'm Peachey just throwing up; it's not that bad," said Wave sarcastically, with vomit on his shirt.
"Happy to hear that. Some people think that vomiting is hard, but you got through it with flying colors," said Aegir with a smile on his face as he walked up to him and gave him a hand up.
"That was bad, bro; please don't make jokes like these ever again," replied Wave in disappointment.
"That was a good one, and you know it," says Aegir while he lifts him.
Wave slowly gets on his feet. He looks at the house where the grass and purple vines have taken over it.
"You should get those vines cut," said Wave as he wiped the dirt off of him.
"Well, I would, but they make for a good energy reserve. Also, I would need a professional to do it, and that costs money," replied Aegir. As they both walked up to the door
"Yeah, you right," said Wave. Aegir pulls out a key as he then opens it to reveal a living room overflowed with vines. In the middle of the living was a tiny couch. Across from it was a small television that resembles to be beyond its prime. To the left of the room was polished wooden. Built into it was what seemed to be a closet. As Wave goes, he walks to the closet.
"Hold on, you're not going anywhere till you remove your shirt," said Aegir as he went inside the closet. Wave quickly takes off his shirt and heads for the couch.
"Are you ever going to take your clothes from my house!" yelled out Aegir.
"No, cause I got no more room in my apartment!" replied Wave
"Speak of the apartment. How's it going with it?" asked Aegir.
"Well, I am one month behind rent," replied Wave. "Besides that, it could be better,"
"You should just live with me?" Said Agir.
"That's too much hassle, and I don't like living in a house," said Wave as he felt something drop on his face. He uncovered it from his already closed eyes to see a black shirt. "Also, I have a lot of...business opportunity where I live," said Wave with a grin.
"By business opportunities, do you mean drug dealers, gang members, assassins, and all that. That does sound like an excellent place to find jobs," said Aegir
"Don't forget about the mob bosses and robbers," said Wave
"Yeah, that seems like a lot of opportunities," said Aegir. Wave puts on the shirt. The shirt hugs Wave tightly, making his chest look more prominent.
"See, I knew you would understand," said Wave
"Yeah, sure, be careful and don't do anything stupid, also finish the job," said Aegir
"Yeah yeah, I understand," asked Wave.
"By the way, I sent all the info to your phone," said Aegir. He grabs his small phone out of his pocket to see an unopened message.
"Alright, I understand. I'll pop by to see you tomorrow," said Wave. As he then puffs away. ving room.
He looks up at his apartment building as he fumbles around his pocket. He searched and reached, but he couldn't find his keys. Wave then gives out a long sigh. With one step after another, he becomes tired until he finally reaches the porch.
He looks at the black button near the door and thinks of how annoyed his landowner will be. He pressed the button. He waits in front of the entrance. He patiently waits to hear the beep the beep that always gets him chewed out. The second he waits seconds, he remains there feeling like minutes have passed by.
"Who is it!" yells out a man with a deep scratch throat. That broke the silence.
"It's god," replied Wave jokingly.
"Oh...it's you," said the man in annoyance, as he growls.
"Damn, what's the problem?" asked Wave
"What's wrong? Your two months behind rent! That's what the fuck is wrong!" said the man an anger
"Oh shit, I forgot about that," Wave thought to himself.
"So where's my money bitch," asked the man
"I'll get it to you in two days," said Wave
"Two days, well then that's when you're allowed in," said the man
"Come on now, I need to get something for a job," said Wave in irritation.
"What you need to get is my money!!" the man's voice screeched through the voice box and onto the street, where it echoed. Wave quickly covered his ears, but the voice pierced through it.
"Come on, just give me one more chance," said Wave. A long silence cast down the empty street. Then, before Wave can say another word, before he can even explain himself, a beep stops him.
"Three days, and if you don't have my money by then, you're out," said the man irritated by the conversation.
Wave lets out a sigh of relief. He always had arguments, but this was the worst one and the closest one. That would have decided if he was sleeping in the icy concrete or the broken-down room. Both bad options in his mind, the hotel coming ontop only because he can hide stuff most people can't hide in public.
