Today is Adam's 29th birthday, Adam and a few of his friends, Leviethein (Leviathan) Mace, William Hulse, Catherine Wills, Alex Khouri, and Bill Tray. Adam and his five friends all went out to a 5 star restaurant for Adam's birthday. At the restaurant, Adam needed to use the restroom, and as he walked into the restroom, William saw 2 men walk in there and William had a bad feeling so William got Alex and Leviethein to go to the restroom too. As William, Alex, and Levi walk into the bathroom, they see two men in black suits unconscious on the floor, and Adam standing over them with two bloody knuckles.
After they all left the restaurant, William went up to Adam and asked "Hey, Adam, what happened back there in the restroom?" to which Adam responds with "I- they tried to kill me..." "W-What do you mean Adam?" William asks "I mean they tried to murder me... and for some reason I have a weird feeling this ties back to my... my wife..." William becomes silent after that and goes back to talking to Alex and Levi.
After they've been walking around the city for a while, it started to get dark very quick. Once they round a corner of a building, the same two men from the restroom are standing there... like they've been waiting there for a very long time, somehow knowing that Adam would turn that corner, but not knowing that Adam had five friends right behind them. The two men stare at them all while they all stare back at the two men. The two men look at each other, back to the group, and without saying a word, they charge at the 6 friends. Surprised, the group of friends flinch and back up, but unexpectedly Alex charges out from behind the group and knocks one of the men down while he had his guard lowered, not knowing they would charge back. After that, Adam runs in and beats the hell out of the other one, while Alex takes care of the other. After Alex had clearly knocked out the one of the men, Adam knocked out his opponent almost a minute ago yet he was still going, having to have William and Levi to pull him off of that man. After they start walking away, Catherine says that she needs to turn back because she thinks she forgot her wallet, which Bill offers to go back with her, which she accepts. As those two are gone and its now just Adam, William, Alex, and Levi, they all decide to go back to Adam's place.
Once they got to Adam's place, they opened the door and saw that the place was trashed, broken glass shards on the floor everywhere, paper and trash littered across the couches and tables, and a note left on a wall saying *Three of your close friends are murderers that have connections to your wife dying, figure out who one of them is and you have a chance of surviving, figure out who two of them are and you will learn something about yourself that you haven't ever figured out before, find out who all three of your fake close friends are... and you will get-* The rest of the paper was torn off... most likely hidden among the trash.
