Haruki threw himself against Jun to prevent him from being shot, in an impulse move to escape danger.
He didn't know why it happened, but he saw a flash, and knew he was being dragged, along with Jun, to Neona. He let it happen because he felt he had no alternative but to take Jun with him.
But Haruki discovered it was a huge mistake even before it materialized in the other universe, where the 'creature' was waiting to devour him.
There was an unknown monster in Neona, he knew it.
The singer had been dreaming about it for several weeks. The creature with Miyu-chan's face lurked, thirsty and hungry, after anything it could snap and swallow.
