"...?!" Haruki blinked, stunned.
Saito took Haruki by surprise, kissing his lips in a loud and exaggerated way. Releasing the hand that held the singer's neck, the mountaineer put his hand over Haruki's head and ruffled the boy's hair. Saito said,
"Hinata may be the youngest here. But you are the purest. And I will see that you remain immaculate. It's my promise, Haruki. I will protect you," Saito smiled, spoke softly and quietly.
But something in his eyes shivered every hair on Haruki's body. Saito's hard and cold gaze, the mark of a man who achieved everything he wanted.
Haruki, who was still surprised by the kiss, was speechless when he heard the adventurer's vows. He didn't feel it was a compliment to know Saito thought of him as the group's most naïve. Because it was far from being true.
