Jordan was sitting on the throne, all the gods were able to sense his killing aura.
They were afraid to say a word.
Jordan had sealed the spear and the room with the strongest runes he knew.
Jordan was in deep thinking, totally shocked, first, the Chaos god left the banquet in a hurry, then the spear gets activated, he doubted if the Chaos god was plotting something. But why was he plotting? It didn't make any sense? Chaos was strongest, even Jordan doubted if he could defeat him, Jordan was always good to him, if he wanted the throne, Chaos could just ask him, he would happily give him the throne.
It's not that if he didn't want the throne, he didn't stand a chance against the Chaos.
He even doubted if the Chaos God is the new master of the infinity spear. But it didn't make sense?
This was a headache for him.
All the other gods were quiet, no one dared to talk to the king, and they all knew the king can burst his anger anytime, on anyone. No one wanted to be the scapegoat for the king.
Jordan didn't have a good reputation as a king among them, he would do whatever he wants, without thinking about others.
If someone takes the lead, all may be ready to go against the king, but they all were scared of the Chaos god, who is missing from yesterday.
In the throne room, among his ministers, Liam was the most loyal man of the last king. Jordan trusted him, Liam never did a work that could cause doubt in him.
Liam waited for the opportunity to take revenge for the last king of gods. Today that day has come, when he needs to do his duty and prove his loyalty to the last king of Gods.
He stood up, seeing him other Gods were relieved,
'Finally, someone is ready to take the anger of the king'
'We won't have to face it together'
'Oh! Look its Liam, King Jordan will surely go light on his minister'
Liam went before the king.
All the other gods thought, Liam was sacrificing for other gods. But Liam was prepared.
"Your highness"
Before Liam could finish, his statement,
King threw a fireball towards him, Liam quickly opens a portal in the air.
The fireball goes inside the portal and the portal with the fireball disappears.
There was silence in the room, no one dared to speak now. They all were looking at the king, asking indirectly, "Is it enough ?"
The king was silent, he closed his fist to attack with another fireball.
But before that, Liam broke the silence.
"Almighty king, give me a chance and I will keep his head on your feet"
Every god in the throne room looked towards Liam, they didn't believe, what they hear.
"Liam is ready to sacrifice himself for the gods?
Has he lived his god life?
Why is he trying to impress the king?
He does not have a daughter like the last king of gods?
All the gods were discussing,
This was considered a sacrifice because every time a god leaves the God Domain, he will lose half of his power. Even if Liam comes back after killing the master of the infinity spear. He won't be as strong as before. This was a big sacrifice for the Gods.
'Silence!' King Jordan shouted.
King looked at Liam, and asked 'how are you going to kill him?'
Liam answered 'Even if I kill him, he will be reborn again by the power of the infinity spear.'
He insisted 'I would request you to let me borrow the infinity spear to kill him'
It was risky for the king of the gods to decide. God is willing to sacrifice himself. But if the new master gets the spear, it won't be good for God. Especially for king Jordan.
But if he did nothing, the new master will ascend to God Domain someday or the other. Then who is going to fight him, being a God with the spear in his hand? Leave all the gods, even if all the beings came together, still, they won't be able to defeat him.
Liam was one of the best Gods for this job. He was a trusted minister of King Jordan.
King Jordan looked at Liam standing before him,
Jordan looked into his eyes, he could only see determination,
The king stood up, everyone followed the king and stood up.
"I need some time to think" King Jordan announced and left the throne room.
Every God passed by saying all the best to Liam.
Only two other Gods accept Liam was there,
They both came to him,
One of them asked " will it work? Liam."
Liam smiled "It has to work, Jordan does not have any other option"
"You did what I told you ?"
The same person answered, "I have checked with Chaos God, he didn't leave his palace yesterday and he knows nothing about this."
'Good', Liam looked towards the other person.
The other person spoke,
'Goddess Alissa is still in her dimension, there was no movement, I didn't see anyone talking to her'
"Everything should work according to the plan," Liam walked towards the door of the throne room, the other two persons followed him.
The Chaos God inside his palace was still thinking why he couldn't connect with Oden and control the system,
"The bond should recover by now. Unless someone is more powerful than me, is not letting the bond get stronger. But it is impossible because I am the strongest God in the God Domain."
The God of Chaos had no idea, what was going on in the God domain, little did he what mess he would fall in if the Gods get to know his son is the new master of the Infinity spear
