Cordelia and Ron get close enough to the red castle so they could see the camp outside of it that was getting ready to attack, Ron was about to ride closer while Cordelia grabbed his fists in hers almost violently.
"don't!"
She whispered slowly under her lip's as a warning and Ron obeyed without thinking, Cordelia took off the horse made herself disappear, she knew the cause of same genes with the beast they wouldn't notice her right away, so it was the only way that they could reach to Brayton.
She almost searched for every single tent one by one. The more she probed, the less found any sign of his presence, maybe he was in the castle.
"what if they noticed his identity and killed him?"
He whispered to herself in a shaky tone although she hoped that it's not the reason for his absence! Held her hand on the dagger as she noticed alike of blood at the centre of the camp, few corpses were lying beside the lake; it seemed they were old corpses.
