Dana opened her eyes to a white ceiling, and her nose was assaulted with the strong smell of antiseptic. When she glanced to her right she saw an IV slowly dripping.
She was alone in this hospital room. As she wondered about how long she had fainted, she tried to recall what had happened. She remembered feeling dizzy inside her bathroom at home, which caused her to lose consciousness.
She creased her eyebrow thinking why she had a throbbing wound in her head. She touched the left side of her head. It is covered in a bandage.
She groped the side of the bed and pressed the call button. She needs to pee and she doesn't know how she could stand up with the IV drip connected to her right hand and the annoying pounding in her head.
