"Did you contact Wang Wei?"
The girl sitting in a wheelchair did not answer. Her eyes are blank, fixated on the white curtain that is softly moving by the breeze of early spring.
"I'm asking you, Mei, have you contacted Wang Wei?"
"Mr. Wu, please lower your voice. The patient will be agitated if you raise your voice."
The nurse on duty reprimanded him gently for his action.
He sighs in frustration when he did not get any reaction from Mei. He has been visiting her in this private hospital since last year when he received a call from the hospital director telling him that their patient Mei Hanagata put him as a contact person.
He had the hospital investigated before he even set foot here, for he thought it was a scam to hear the name of the girl that has been haunting his conscience for years. When he confirmed from his lawyers that the hospital is legit, that there is indeed a patient named Mei Hanagata.
