Alan stared at his phone for a long time, then desperately called Chris back.
On the phone, a fight seemed to ensue but the sound of Merry's loud laughter could be heard in the end.
Alan leaned against the cupboard and sighed. "Chris, when can the news be deleted?"
Chris coaxed the girl in his arms gently, then raised his voice and asked, "Why do you want to delete it so much? It's not your style! You always ignore this kind of news. Why are you suddenly worried?"
Alan was silent for a few seconds before finally telling the truth. "Even if the news is fake, I don't want Anette to misunderstand."
Anette?
Hearing this, Chris burst out laughing, teasing evilly. "Are you serious?"
Alan's head shrank, and his voice was low. "Don't joke anymore, delete the news quickly."
When the word fell, Alan hung up right away!
Facing Chris' joke, Alan felt his cheeks heat up.
The sudden news piqued his interest in choosing clothes.
