Aiden stroked Anya's face and said in a low voice, "I'm sure I can make your mother accept me, but I'm not sure about you. What can I do to make you truly believe in me?"
Anya bit her lip without answering Aiden's question.
Her childhood experience made her a sensitive woman. She couldn't trust others easily and used to rely on herself.
"Anya, I never intended to hurt you. Not now and forever. I will take care of everything that is valuable to you," Aiden said softly.
When she lifted her head, Anya could see the stern look on her husband's face. Aiden wasn't lying to her.
She said nothing and hugged his body tightly.
Aiden hugged her back with a sad look. "Do you still want to divorce me?"
"No," Anya answered.
Anya also didn't want to part with Aiden. Without realizing it, her heart now belonged to Aiden. However, what could she do if her mother didn't approve of their relationship?
