Eli's pov~~~
*3 days prior*
she bit me i then collapsed in pain.
pain. fire. more pain. and more fire. it's everywhere
*3 days later*
"where's the captain i haven't seen him in days ?"
"he'll be better soon, but you need to be patient and when i say dock and go under deck for a few hours till i come to get you do it... it won't be long now"
~~ i moved slightly~~
"do it now dock and go under all of you NOW"
"YES MA'AM" the man said jack? they did as told i heard them running to get ready
~~I HEARD THIS AND TRIED TO MOVE AGAIN THIS WAS IT I WAS DONE I'M A VAMPIRE~~
*10 min. later*
I woke up and I could hear, see, and smell everything. i could feel every brush of movement... someone's here. she smelled like lilies and cinnamon spice i kept my eyes closed i could sense her on the other side of the room i could feel how anxious she was i inwardly smiled she was my princess my beautiful Evelynda at least i think shes mine that woman is so confusing at times. i slowly reopened my eyes and looked around i could see every dust mote, and every ray of light there was a subtle rainbow and at the very edge i saw a 9th color. i slowly looked around till i saw her she was standing jest where i'd thought she was right by the window it was one of her favorite places to stand and i understood why. i knew more than she thought like i know that every night she would slip out of bed and go to the helm jest to be alone but came back b4 i woke up in the morning so id think she would stay it was sweet but i knew... i finally sat up slowly and she watched
"iglesias?' i could hear the hesitation in her voice like it wasnt me like id changed i smiled and ran across to her sweeping her into my arms kissing her deeply shed wrapped her arms around me and kissed back i held this for as long as i could but she pulled away
" it's you oh good i was worried for a second" she smiled a big toothy smile that lit the room up and i just had to smile as well
" you need to hunt I've gotten everyone under deck don't be afraid to go out u wont hurt then and were darkened in a town with few ports, and a lot of animals it's common for an animal to kill so u can feed well here" she said pulling me to the door i wasn't aware till now but my throat burned really bad still and my hand went to it instantly i nodded held my breath and ran off the boat fast with her close behind right on my heels i smiled and kept going i was really fast and it felt good to get out now
evelyn was behind me as i ran i ran fast smiling at the feel of the wind on my skin as i go we ran till i got to the next town and she stopped by me
"be careful eli we can't kill to many in one place just enough to cool the burn"
i looked over to her touching my throat i hadn't noticed till shed said anything but now that she has it's in the front of my mind and it hurts alot
"go ahead close your eyes and stand still" she said walking so she was in front of me and i did as i was told
" good now listen what do you hear?" she said this softly and i listened well its obvious i can hear everything but i know that's not what she means so i listened and i could make out heart beats, breathing, even some people lightly talking in their homes
"now what do you smell?" again everything but i know what she means so i branch out again i smell the woods all the trees, grass, every animal i could smell their blood it smelt decent some better than others but not to bad. then i tried to focus on the town. just baked bread and pastries wood from the houses and furniture then something inside that made my mouth water and my throat burn more
" you smell them? that's the humans now don't be afraid and go ill be here if you need me" she said and i looked at her smiled and kissed her at first lightly but deepened the kiss once i knew she wouldn't pull away
"lyn you are magnificent i don't think i coulda been locked in a room with me if i were you they smell so good"
i have practice now go" with that i ran again she was there trailing but farther back and i stopped at one of the houses and listened everyone was asleep so i slipped in going room to room and smiled when i found a room that had two people in it smelling so sweet and delicious i was at the bedside in a instant and shaped the man's neck then went straight in and bit his neck his blood was so warm and sweet it didn't taste metallic like i thought it would, his blood tamed my thirst for a second but he was done befor i was i threw her body down and went to t6he woman doing the same as her husband, i snapped her neck then drank she taisted even better andi pulled her closer sucking her blood down faster and again she was done before i was so i got up looking at myself i had blood all down my shirt and i sighed walking out and to another room that had two female kids going to the older i snapped her neck and did the same as with her parents i then did that with her younger sister when i went back to evelyn my throat was more tame but the burn was still there
" ill clean it up and then we can go to another house ok" she smiled lightly kissing me even though i was covered in blood then went inside not even two minutes later she was back and grabbed my hand for a hour or so we went between two towns as i hunted slowly getting closer to the ship. once we were in sight of it i looked down and cursed
"i can't go on looking like this"
she lets smiled holding out a shirt i didn't recognize as my own" here i picked this up at one of the places i'll turn away if you want to change here" i just looked bewildered at her could i really take a dead man's shirt? she obviously didn't think anything of it so i took it ripping off my shirt and putting it on. i saw her eyes go wide then she turned around which i though funny once i had it buttoned i wrapped my arms around her and we went about no more than 30 minutes later we were back on the sea sailing away
*evelyns POV*
We've been sailing for a few days now and I've kept him in his room as I ran the ship, he's still a newborn after all... with every day I'm growing closer to him and it's becoming hard to stay away from him it's night and like always as the ship sleeps me and him are in his room going over the maps
"ok so this is the next place we need to go Lyn I think it's where the next clue is" he points out a small tow on the very outskirts of Spain and I smile,
Finally going home I'm so happy
"
I know you're happy evelyn I am to I very much like Spain it's where met you" he smiles holding my hand as I look at him more shocked than ever
"it happened again but this time YOU heard ME" he nods as I end that sentence and I think for a while
"maybe that's your power... to project and read people's minds" I'm looking into his now red eyes oh how I miss the beautiful green they once were
"maybe..." he thinks
" c'mon evelyn let's go to land and hunt it's been a week and that stale stuff in the boodle isn't as good as it was" he says standing up and I follow him not so worried that a crew member would be out since i'd started taking care of the boat I know he'll eventually take rain again but this princess was having a bit of fun with the power she missed so much
We jumped off the boat and swam the short distance to shore instead of going on the dock like a human would have.
Once there I smiles and followed Eli past the town we were in and to the next one down the road and we instantly started feeding going threw and picking a few houses and drinking from some homeless men that were sleeping in a alleyway when we were done we started back
"Lyn do you smell that" he said and I sniffed the air it was rotten and foul only a werewolf could have such a horrid sent and I looked worried
"split up i'll meet you on the boat" I then ran off in one direction and he started toward the boat as I was walking I heard someone coming closer and I got ready to fight standing ready but when the little girl rounded the corner I straightened up right away looking shocked and she stopped, her small green eyes widened seeing me. As I started toward her but she started backing away so I stopped
"what is your name child?" I said in a sweet voice smiling and she looked up at me
"Tiana" she said in a small voice holding two loaves of bread close to herself
"and why are you out so late you can't be more than 7 years old" she giggles
"miss Im 9"
" oh ok well where do you live i'll walk you back it's not safe out here for a little girl like you" I say watching her. There is something familiar about this little girl
*flash back*
The little boy and girl are running around smiling and laughing
"you won't catch me Anton!!" the little girl says as she runs past smiling and giggling
"come back Christina I got smaller legs" he replied as he followed after his sister they looked nearly the same. Same bronze hair, same thick eyelashes, same small nose, same blue eyes, though the boy was gust slightly smaller and the girl was a bit unproportional they still had fun running around
*end flashback*
She was watching me with her big green eyes her soft brown hair falling around her shoulders falling almost to her waist.
"I don't live far miss ill show you the way" and with that she started walking to, and past me and I followed her watching around us. We walked all the way down that street and cut to the right following that down and the farther we got I could smell the stench of the wolves even more and I stand closer to her when I saw a house with the door broken in she looked scared and started running toward the house and I jogged after her following her in picking her up knowing what happened.
"where's your room Tiana you're coming with me" she pointed down the hall and I walked her down there at a humans jogging pace then set her down
"Tiana baby grab all your stuff and i'll help you pack bring everything you want I don't know if or when you'll come back... i'll be right back" I walk out going to her parents room and there I saw blood everywhere and two bodies one male one female her parents had been ripped apart and there internals had been taken I shut and jammed the door so she couldn't get in then I went back to her. She had nearly all her clothes packed and was now putting her bedding in another so I went outside calling for Eli to come back, I called him three times then went back to her. She already had two bags of clothed and two of bedding packed now starting on some extras such as sentimental items toys and toiletries. When Eli got there he almost went insane with the thirst but I quickly helped him to acclimate then we walked in
"Tiana darling girl this is my friend Eli Antino he's here to help bring your stuff ok" I said smiling
"ok miss.." she trailed off and I remembered I hadn't told her my name
" oh dear I forgot my names Evelynda Ambrosio" Eli started picking up her bags holding two in each hand so all there was left was the bags of toys and sentimental items and the bag for toiletries.
"thank you Mr. Antino" she said in a small voice and he smiled at her "call me Eli child, please" and walked out with her stuff starting back to the boat. I helped her finish packing then we were on our way back to the boat I kept at a human pace for her, I didn't want to show her my vampire side... yet

We were just getting her settled into a spare room in the boat when the un was rising so I let her lay down to sleep, once she was I went back to the deck just as the crew was coming up
" everyone in line now!!" I yelled in the most commanding voice I could muster at this time as they got together I walked up in front of them smiling and stood front and center
"ok so this is how it is me and Eglesias were out last night and I found a orphan girl whose parents had just been killed by some animal I didn't ask questions I just packed her up and brought her here she has no clue about her parents except the door to her house was kicked in no one will tell her understood"
I start looking around and in unison they say "yes ma'am"
I smiled " she will be considered my daughter so if you try to harm her I will personally cut off limbs understood"
"yes ma'am"
"You will treat her right and not like a piece of crap or I will rip your limbs off understood" I looked around as they stared straight forward
"yes ma'am" I smiled at there frightened looks
"don't worry I'm kidding about the limbs coming off" they sighed in relief
" but there will be consequences if you hurt her" I pause them say
" you may go to work thanks for your time... and don't tell El bout this" they dispersed as I walked off barely talking to each other and they began to get ready to set sail
