Staring at Pete who seems so calm, but I know what it feels like staring at the one you love smiles and laughs at someone who isn't you. I wonder how in the crap he he looks at her like that. It's heartbreaking as hell.
"Damn this alcohol for making me a dramatic bloke." He shook his head. "But, thank you for listening. I almost thought I'd go nuts if I don't talk to someone about this. I owe you one." He smiled.
"It was an honor. By the way, I recorded everything you've said." I said teasingly.
Blood drained from his face. "You wouldn't." he said and I chuckled.
"I'm kidding, and I promise I won't tell her." I said and lightly giggled. He sigh in relief, and smiled.
"What do you mean by, you won't tell me?" Ashley said, slurring. Pete and I was startled when she popped out of nowhere while crossing her arms to her chest. She squinted her eyes to me then to Pete. She was awfully tanked-up.
