Lunch with my girls was nice and so was the sound of my girls though I hoped I would be able to call Stacey that out loud soon enough. I thought it was nice because Stacey was there, half the time I wanted to stab Cecil with a fork. She just wouldn't shut up.
I dropped Stacey at the store and drove Cecil home. "She seems nice."
"You told me that the first time you visited her antique store."
"No, I meant she is too nice for you. You deserve someone less."
I frowned at her through the rearview mirror. "You know, I don't like the way you're seated comfortably at the back like I am your driver," I said ignoring her statement. "It was fine when Stacey was with you but now it is just annoying."
"Aren't you my driver?" She asked with a smirk.
I stopped in front of the house and said, "I won't even bother responding to that."
