I was trying to take a peek at what he held but he kept moving it out of reach. It looked like a little box but it was covered with a piece of clothing so I couldn't say exactly.
"It is a surprise."
"Really? For you? What is it?" I asked rapidly suddenly feeling very ecstatic.
"You'll see."
"I want to see now," I begged.
"No way, like I said it is a surp…"
"Me-ow!" Suddenly pierced through the night.
I gasped while Clark yelled, "Shush you little kitten. You've ruined the surprise."
"You got me a kitten!" I screamed happily.
"Well, I just happened to come across a litter of adorable kittens and I thought you would like one." He explained with a large grin on his face.
"Really? Thank you!" I squealed I delight. Clark didn't just happen to find a litter of kittens, I knew that was a lie. He must have gone out of his way to get it for me. I rushed into his arms again almost hitting the poor kitten.
