Upon waking Alora found herself not upon the rocky mound she'd first been placed but the one the beast had laid upon when he first brought her here to his cave hearing shifting not to far from her she turned her head expecting to see the beast but instead her eye's fell upon a man who had his back to her and what looked to be a blanket that was so mouth eaten that there would no way that it would be able to keep him warm, though it was't why she could't take her eye's of him and neither was it because he was taller than most men she'd ever met or because he was muscular than most of them as well though he seemed to out do them in the number of scars that marked in golden caramel like skin it was the hair and eye's which she caught sight of as he glanced over his shoulder that matched the beasts colour in every way possible.
"I was starting to think that you may never wake" he chuckled as he turned away from her.
"Who are you and how did you come to be here?" Alora asked watching him.
"I've told you before i have called this mountain home for a more than a thousand years" at his words her heart seemed to beat faster and almost painfully she'd heard rumors that beasts as such as him if they became old enough that they could shape shift into any form they so wished along with the ability to use magic though she had never believed such rumors but there was no saying that they were't true now because he was sitting no more than a arm length away as a human instead of a beast.
Words were truly beyond her at this point and even more so as he moved from his spot on the rocky mound that would normally support his beast like body and came closer to her caring a bowel in his now human sized hand and at first, she believed it to be water but upon seeing the blueish colour it held and that it seemed to almost sparkle in the faint light that made it's way into the cave from above she turned her head away only for him to chuckle and turn her head ever so gently back towards him pressing the bowel with the same gentleness against her lips and very slowly she opened her mouth and began to drink what was ever held within it, causing heat to spread through her body with more she drank and the pain that had been keeping her firmly laying against the rocky mound began to fade and though she could not see the wounds even on her feet due to bandages covering them but it felt like her very skin was knitting it's self back together which made her wonder if he had used this upon himself while she had been out due to the wounds that he had gotten from that cat like beast were no where to be seen.
"By next mornings light you'll be able to move about with little to no pain but i do suggest waiting an extra day or two before making your way down the path" he said taking the bowel away.
"because of my wounds" she said.
"No" he shook his head before fixing his pale green eye's on her" because of the Tomb-talon it's sure to be hunting for you as they seem to heal even faster than i can and it's kind are not known for letting pray escape them"
"I've never seen anything like it before" Alora said.
"I would of been more surprised if you had" he chuckled which in turn caused her to frown for she could't see why he found this funny but when he manged to get a hold of himself" for you see Alora the Tomb-talon is a beast of a world that has been long forgotten not only by man but even by dragons though as you saw for yourself they are not all gone"
"there's more of them?" she asked.
"Not on this mountain" he said with a shake of his head" they live their whole lives alone and only seek out other's of their own kind when it's time to mate, though the one who also call's this mountain home has never seen fit to do so most likely because of it's age"
"Unlike you" she said causing something dark instead of gentle to pass through his pale green eye's and his jaw to twitch ever so slightly causing him to sigh and look away from her almost angrily after all what other reason would he have for taking on a human for since she could't stop given her current state.
"You really think i took this form for that reason?" he said.
"did't you?" she asked in return.
Never before had a human been able to cause his temper to flare like this that he could feel his blood almost boil in his veins just like it had done when she struck his foot with that rusted weapon that had been near the entrance of the cave and it took just about everything he had to push it back down again though at this very moment he was unable to do so if she believed that he'd only taken on this human form to in so seance of the world take advantage of her then why not, she was at this very moment unable to stop and her clothes were already torn and as for himself he only really had the mouth eaten blanket that was draped over his shoulders so in a simple movement that made her blue eye's widen at this sudden action as the mouth eaten blanket that had been only wrapped around his shoulders now draped over both of them and though he'd only done this to prove a point it was hard to keep his instincts under control because even though she could make him angry at a drop of pin, Alora was rather beautiful her athletic build told him that she was more than cable of looking after herself while retaining what made human female's so appealing though that tended to get them into trouble like she was now and the fact that her clothes, were now torn gave him more than an idea of what lay under them while she was getting the same impression of what his human form looked like up close keeping himself from smirking he lowered himself closer to her so much so that he could hear her heartbeat thumping in his ears and turning his head ever so slight, he lent against her ear that he was more than sure that she could feel his breath against her skin.
"If you'd think that i would do such while your like this then i must truly be the beast you say I am" she turned her head back towards him as she had looked away as lowered himself so closely to her own body causing a look of fear but also confusion and though he'd been planning on moving away from her to show that she was wrong about as to why he took on this human form, something more primal took him over causing him to press his lips against her's which real caused the sound of her beating heart to thump away in his ears to the point that he'd have to ask if he'd hear anything normally again.
The moment he appeared over her which in turn caused his mouth eaten blanket to drape over her as well her heart began to thump against her chest that she was sure he could heart it in fact there was no guessing about it and it only thumped harder when he lowered his body to her's and though everything was screaming at her to fight back to get away from him but as he lowered himself closer to her body and spoke into her ear which not only caused the hairs on the back of he neck to stand on end but her whole body seemed to become heated though it was't because of fear but something else as his lips pressed against her's but as he broke the stolen kiss and pulled away from her with some great effort on his part that she came to realize that there was a part of her no matter if it was small or large that was no longer seeing him as a simple beast that she'd been offered up to for the great good of the village that sat at the foot of his mountain.
